I can see where your ur coming from and i dont agree that he could've beaten arlong if he wasn't injured he problaly could of held him off longer but thats neither here nor there the point is speed does kill but think about zoro is not that far away from a soru speed if that he's probblay on par with it but not at lucci soru, speed does kill i know that but there's so many factor's in a fight like that and i give you that rkugun thing but come on considering zoro's in human endurance, stamina, and tenacty i still think he could beat lucci and by the way wat other ways could he beat him

lucci can not block it with tekkai becouse the brute force is too big, and he cant dodge it becouse its faster then soru, he'll end up being completely cut open just like kaku

If the fights in One Piece were that simple, it would be boring, and most of the fights would last one chapter.

Oh, btw, Asura doesn't give Zoro super speed. He moves his hands and head. His movement speed is the same as far as I gathered.

superman if you have been reading the series up till know you would see that dice is right, in each arc we've seen zoro luffy sanji , etc. become stronger only after there respective fights zoro vs. Mr.1 he got cut to shreds but till surived in TB he beat ryumma once famed legandary swordsman and on top of that took some licks from Oz which lets face it weren't like girl punches and on top of everything else he fought Kuma KUMA!! so for you to say that he didn't progees your opinion needs to be serouisly cheacked man cause come on it's all right there

Alright i didnt read every word and every chapter clearly in the tb arc but where did oda said that asura is faster than soru in the cp9 arc.
Next: you say kaku said by himself his rankyaku is the strongest from cp9, think about it, this fat guy said he is the best at soru do you really believe that.
come on, oda let them say this for their selfconfidence and to frighten the enemy and maybe to activate disscusions.

ryumma is a dead body and dead body rot and lose muscles ok he was deep frozen but moria didnt stand next to him when he died and said ok i will deep froze your body.

ryuma vs zoro wasnt a long fight so ryumma and in the end zoro arent so strong as you wish.
but zoro will become the greatest swordsman so one day he will be freaking strong but not yet that will take a bit time.

No, about Asura, some people think that Zoro moves his head and arms so quick that it seems that there are more of them. At least, that seems most likely. Maybe it's different, who knows.
But the point is, his legs don't move any faster, so his movement speed is the same.

ok thank you i never thought about that he is moving his hand so fast i thought he has demonic powers, because he did THIS oni giri where he attacked all of the mirines in that room and over his head were big wings or something like that and i cant explain it with speed, it had the same color as he started asura where he short formed the katanas, kaku wonders what that was and went into the position to make his strongest attack. hope you know what i mean and your right his legs dont move any faster.

guys we dont know that for sure where does it state this ? im not sayin that it does or it doesn't and by the way you can tell that the cp9 charaters weren't lying there not one to bluff and and if so y didn't lucci move whille using tekkai the way jybura does or y didn't his ranyaku cut that marine battle ship in two? trust me the cp9 guys were stating facts when they said that and about the rotting muscles u might be right on that but they have hogback which he probllay replaced there muscle with new one hence no roiting even chopper said it that's y they were attacking Oz's right arm even though hogbak heavily recovered it , it was still his weakness

No, really. How would Zoro win against an opponent that Luffy barely defeated. Unless you sincerely believe that Zoro is superior to Luffy in battle then Zoro stands no chance against Luffy.

And stop this 'swords will cut teh everything' crap. If it was that easy then Zoro (and Mihawk as well) would be the most powerful characters in OP world with the exception of Logias and this is obviously not the case.

1. He blocked the attack from Oz, which is like gear 3rd from luffy.
2. He is the strongest Member of the Straw Hat Crew, in physical strength matters.
3. He cant cut Steel, which is great to break that "tekkai"-technique.
4. He has now a new and more powerful sword, which makes him even stronger.
5. His stamina ist just insane and his physical ability to take enemy attacks are outstanding.


Luffy has great attacks/techniques, but if he use them to much/long he will get extremely tired.

Gear 3rd for example will let him shrink, during this time he is extremely vulnerable.

Zoro doenst have high risk attacks with adverse effects.
