As long as it isn't Adi killing me, it shouldn't matter. That's how the rules are anyway...

it should tell dectectives they were blocked.
same with a doc then...if you can hide behind a mafia...a doc shouldn't be able to protect you since you are hidden.

That's how it is on the mafia pedia. I don't have a problem with the investigations not being blocked. It makes no difference to me.

I think it makes it more thrilling of a role...like you basically can't hide that last night for example.
making yourself an open target...because you couldn't hide to get confirmed.

Yeah but what's the point of finding out someone is a hider? It basically means the mafia will just avoid you when they find out, lessening your impact on the game.

say that happened on night 1 or 2...could really cause some turmoil...which makes a great game...to me atleast

Because someone who doesn't know any better might hide behind someone who they think might be mafia. Put it in the rules, there's no need for "internal notes" wtf...kinda of a big thing to leave out.

That's the way the Hider role is in other places, but here it's only ever a factor in whether you can be killed or not.

Hider (Townie): Each night the Hider may choose another person to hide behind. If somebody tries to kill the Hider while he is hiding then the kill fails. If the person that the Hider is hiding behind is killed then both of them die. If the Hider is hiding behind the person who tries to kill the Hider, then the kill succeeds. (GAME 3)

it includes

-the hiding action to fail if hidden behind the person (person group) targeting the hider
-it only explicitley mentions kills, no word of hiding from other actions
