Manga Coloring of the Week #2 NOW Over!!

Hi again everyone. The week#2 of Manga Coloring of the Week has finally started. We've made some changes to the rules..I guess they are not set in stone atm. As for the last week's contest, the announcement date is moved on Sunday and few days after that is the monthly fanart contest..so stay tuned. Enjoy and have a Happy New Year!! <3!

Manga Coloring of the Week: December 29, 2006 to January 2, 2007​

Entries:

• Any manga colorings of your choice are allowed. It can be a whole page, double-page, or even just a panel, whatever you wish.
• Entries will be divided into two categories:
  Amateur Colorist: Specially made for our new colorist out there who are just discovering their new talent of coloring manga.
  Advanced Colorist: Specially made for our veteran colorist who are well recognized for their advanced skills in coloring manga.
• Any media of your choice. Watercolor, Digitally-colored, or even a crayon coloring. Who knows..as long as it looks good, why not.
• Entries must be posted in this thread.
• If you have multiple colorings, kindly choose one for the week's competition.
• If Isane or Zarosaki happens to release their colored chapters within the week, a page in the chapter can be also be an entry.
• Kindly credit the cleaned page if it is cleaned by someone else.
• Kindly submit your final work. No editing your post for newer versions of colorings please.
• No plagiarizing please. Ripping someone's hard work is just wrong.

Duration:

• Friday to Tuesday: Submissions of all the entries will be held in these five days. The thread will be locked by Tuesday 9 pm EST.
• Wednesday to Saturday: Voting will be held on these days. Check out for details here
• Sunday of the following week: Announcement of winner!!!

Just a note about which categories you'll probably be accepted into: right now the majority of the artists here will likely be automatically put in the Amateur category, at least until you've won an Amateur Colorist contest three times, OR if you request to be put in the Advanced Colorist contest. In which case, good luck against the likes of Zarosaki, Dynamic Dragon, and Vhea, and whoever else we consider to be Advanced Colorists.

Hope that explains that.

Hello, newbie here. Here is my entry, from ch195 of BLEACH. Here
Oh and lines were cleaned up by manga-rain.

I used to be a colorist for manga-rain but they sorta don't do BLEACH as their main project anymore. I'm willing to be a colorist for any group interested. :]

Also regarding the advanced category, there may be a possibility that we won't get enough entries in a given week to really have a contest. If there's not more than three entries for an advanced category then we will count them for the following week and wait for more before we do the vote on it. I was hoping we'd get more already but it looks like we may not ^^;

Is it necessary that the coloring was done this week? I've had much time to do coloring lately so... here's one I did a while ago (when I had more time)

Oh good, doesn't have to be done this week.... I was worried for a second. And haha, I'd describe the coloring to be more as a "pain"... it took me hours and hours to clean that image... and I had to redraw some stuff too, with mouse... not fun... but pleased with end work :P (except for a small mistake I did... hope you don't notice, lol)

Nah ... It only has to be done by yourself and you can only submit one entry per contest (just to make it fair).

The coloring that you've made, makes me choose the word "cute" to characterize it. All that pink and light blue ......
