Hello and welcome to the biweekly art contest. It's time for the Avatar & Signature Set Category and the theme is Sailor Moon. Your task is to create both pieces, an Avatar and a Signature, that represent Sailor Moon. Get nostalgic!

What do I need to know before submission?

• All members are welcome to join the contest. There is no minimum post or user status you need to have to participate.
• Entries for the contest must be posted in this thread.
• Each participant can only submit ONE ENTRY and it should be a new piece. So don’t try to be smart and enter a piece used in past contests.
• Use MangaHelpers’ HERE to upload your entries. Any problem with uploading, let us know.
• Submissions not following the weeks theme will result in disqualification. If you have any question about the contest, you can ask it here.
• You must credit the artist of the stock images you’re using (see example below). This goes from renders to brushes and textures. If it’s all original art, write so in the credits.
• Forum Rules are applied unless stated otherwise. That means your signature must not exceed 600 x 200px and 500KB. For avatars, the maximum size is 150 x 300px and 100KB.
• No excessive, suggestive, spoiler, or porn-related imagery in the contest.
• Plagiarizing will result in immediate disqualification from this contest and possibly future contests also. Leadership point deductions, loss of artist status and badges, and/or account bans may also occur.
• Submission is open until March 24th, at 23:00 (GMT)

How do I upload and submit my entry?

1. Go HERE.
2. Click the "Upload Image" button.
3. After upload is completed, you'll be shown your uploaded image with an edit box for commentary/additional information. After adding necessary information you wish, click "Save Media" and you'll be brought to the sharing media page.
4. Choose the "Share BB Code" and post within this thread; choosing this will save you having to select any additional codes you want to post here.
5. For more information on how to use the media gallery and uploading, go HERE.

"Theme Name" - "Work Title" by "Artist Name"

Very cool theme. Certainly a very nostalgic series since i've watched it when i was a kid (without even knowing i was watching anime of course).
Obviously Venus/Minako was the goat back in the day.

Editing was done in Paint by myself. I remember loving these two when they arrived on the scene while watching the anime. Unfortunately the first time I watched it I watched the dub and they were presented as cousins. Even then they had enough chemistry that I was curious and googled them. Turns out they are actually a couple and for whatever silly reason it was edited. Haruka and Michiru aka Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune is a ship I adore once i ditched the dub. They love each other and are devoted to each other and their mission to protect the cosmos. I figured i'd use this contest to fangirl a bit and represent these beautiful ladies

And I used my phone - PS express, PSmix, Phonto, BeFunky; probably should not have uploaded when half asleep. Anyway, I really like Sailor Pluto and her time powers. She’s very mysterious and different then the others. So this is this.

Edit: Don’t do important stuff from your bed when you are combating sleep. Especially typing coherently.

Sailor Neptune is my favourite sailor, not only cause of her powers but also cause of her sassy, realistic and artistic personality. In this set I tried to recreate her relationship with music, her violin and her powers.
