Hello! Seasonal art contest is back! This time is summer! If you win this contest, you will be awarded a badge!
Since the pandemic is still going on, and we are trapped in our cage, it inspired Farfalla this theme: Indoor Gardening photography! The garden itself can be yours or someone else's, but the photo must be yours! This theme is doable too for southerners since it's currently winter down there...

What do I need to know before submission?

• All members are welcome to join the contest. There is no minimum post or user status you need to have to participate.
• Entries for the contest must be posted in this thread.
• Each participant can only submit ONE ENTRY and it should be a new piece. So don’t try to be smart and enter a piece used in past contests.
• Use MangaHelpers’ Media Gallery to upload your entries. Any problem with uploading, let us know.
• Submissions not following the weeks theme will result in disqualification. If you have any question about the contest, you can ask it here.
• No excessive, suggestive, spoiler, or porn-related imagery in the contest.
• No plagiarizing is allowed.
• Submission is open until July 26th, at 23:00 (GMT)

How do I upload and submit my entry?

1. Go to this gallery.
2. Click the "Upload Image" button.
3. After upload is completed, you'll be shown your uploaded image with an edit box for commentary/additional information. After adding necessary information you wish, click "Save Media" and you'll be brought to the sharing media page.
4. Choose the "Share BB Code" and post within this thread; choosing this will save you having to select any additional codes you want to post here.
5. For more information on how to use the media gallery and uploading, go HERE.

I wanted to take a picture of my balcony. I recently put some plants there, and they are still alive somewhat (which is something to be proud of after a few weeks of heat/dry weather).
However the hortensia is definitely struggling, doesn't look too cute right now and I figured my balcony wouldn't really be indoor gardening, now would it?

So the next best thing was this. The green thing has soil and cacti seeds in them - I've been trying for months now but they do not wish to be born it seems. The plants on top of it are my pride however. Need to find a bigger pot for the one on the right - kind of proud how it almost died 5 months ago but managed to revive it and make it grow prettier.

The middle cactus on top is called Bob the third, after one of our MH members

The cat likes to harrass the small cacti in the glass, it's a miracle they are still intact.

Indoor Gardening MH Summer contest 2020 Entry Evil

Just like Marma I wanted to take a picture of my balcony so tried to capture a window side view into the entry.

The working titel refers to the indoor location of the photo being part of my living room. The plants in front were moved there for the picture but are from different parts of the flat. It wasn't possible to assemble all plants into one frame because it would have overcrowded it.

Idk why I couldn't upload this to the gallery, it keeps breaking.
Meh, tbh I started to get some plants in my balcony but rly need to invest more time in them... Used some broken things we had in the house to hold some in the wall, but it's still quite empty. There's some thyme in the back, a desert rose, lillies... but it's winter as well, they barely have anything to bear XD But here goes my contest endorsement '-'

All plants I have are outside so I couldn't take them for this time
Used a photo I took with an old phone a few years ago in a corridor of a palace in Sevilla (Spain), the place was full of plants both inside and outside, but loved this part the most because of the door that leads to an ever bigger garden, not a great photo but it was a nice place.
