Hi, I'm eni. This is my nick and my real name. I'm part of MH's staff since October 2006~

Job: I'm originally a child care worker but currently a student. My special fields are international pedagogy (concentrated on Germany, Scandiava and Eastasia), youth culture/subculture (esp. Schwarze Szene), media pedagoy, 'cyber pedagogy', elearning and adult education. I'm Gothic and pagan myself, so if you need any help around these matters don't be afraid to contact me.

Languages: German, English, Dutch, still a beginner in Japanese and Korean. I used to learn Swedish, Norwegian and Turkish and will resume them after my studies, but I can't speak them anymore because to much time passed since I stopped (can read them partly well, though).

Pets: I used to breed rats (certified!) and I owned a Siberian Husky. Mushing was my hobby but I had to give up on it

Hobbies: My computer. After that, digital graphics, webdesign, Linux.... wait, that's computer too. Reallife hobbies... reallife hobbies... hmm...
Well, I love drawing (digital and traditional) and a good book. I'm interested in naturopathy (aromatherapy, homeopathy, herbalism, reiki, ect) and I like to handcraft and sew (casual gothic wear, medieval reenactment stuff, larp, cosplay - clothes, jewelery, accessory). I'm playing Keyboard (piano), Guitar and Harmonica, but I definitely can't sing well ... *think* ... forgot something? I love wolves and if I had the money, I would collect (fantasy or original) sword replicas <3

Sports: As for clubs: Ballett, Jazz Dance, modern and standard dance, Bellydance and Squash - all during my schooltime, not anymore. Other than that, I used to ride horses and spend time with traditional archery (Western and Kyuudo; hun bow, long bow - selfmade, weeeh). I had an introduction in horse archery which was great, I would love to built up on that but yeah, time and money problems. Also love billiard, dart and watching international soccer cups.

Favorites: I hate this "favorite [whatever]" stuff. I've watched a bunch of anime and read even more manga through all genres, also comics and animation movies from other countries. I love thousand movies - old ones and new ones (secret: I'm a vampire fan xD) and ten thousand books. I'm a fan of different music genres, still I used to hear gothic, melodic power metal, medieval rock, punk and ndw/80ies as the most. I don't like to watch TV nor I have a game console younger than my Amiga and snes, so don't ask me for current tv shows or games xD

Hopefully you're not allergic against animal hair - my dog love guests and my rats

maybe running around here somewhere. Also my Kids will paint your faces and dress you up like a ninja, punk, witch, knight, goth or viking, maybe even cut and colour your hair. So be alert - my home is a chaotic place^^

1. My doc is called Mic. I have him since March, 1 2002. My rats living here since 2-4 years, they're called Lady, Malaika, Ebony and Ivory. But I have rats since I was 14 years old. They don't have a long span of life^^

Well, lets see ... Ninja have always a athletic body and cool clothes and are usually hot japanese guys and ... ...I'm not gonna tell you

Oh, that's a hard one

... Captain Jack Sparrow *purrrr* ... ahem ... hm, I love pirates storys and legends, but also ninja stuff. It's really not easy to decide that.

1. Fresh Strawberrys!
2. Quark (german kind of yogurt/curd) with Chocolate Granules!
3. Herrensahne (vanille creme with whipped cream, pieces of chocolate and rum)!
4. Red Fruit Jelly with a sauce of condensed milk OR mixed with whipped cream!
5. Chocolate Icecream with small pieces of Chocolate!
6. Walnut Icecream with pieces of walnuts and Chocolate Sauce!
7. Mousse au Chocolat!

What's the best part of being German?

Hm, I don't know. Maybe it's that I know some fantastic German music. The German medieval markets. The gothic scene. The cuisine of my grandma. My car. Compared to other countrys I'm free and can do what I want (if I just had enough money >.<).

When will you move up to Tromsø?

Depends on my next semester
Probably 8/2007 or 4/2008, maybe 8/2008 if I have to work more.

Since you told me that you read 50 manga and couldn't really say which ones you liked the best, since you liked them all, I was wondering if there was a few that you read that you'd say could use more attention at MH? Which would these be?

Also, if you had a summon, what would it be?

Heya GK

Since you told me that you read 50 manga and couldn't really say which ones you liked the best, since you liked them all, I was wondering if there was a few that you read that you'd say could use more attention at MH? Which would these be?

I didn't liked them all, but most of them^^
Hm, most of them are completed. So, it's hard to pay more attention to it. And of couple of my ongoing Manga have already topics here, but not much answers, so i think the community isn't that much interested in them.

If it comes to Shounen, besides the ones that are already supported here, I really like Samurai Deeper Kyo, also NHK is pretty crazy and well, I'm a Inu Yasha fan since many years. Alive started to get interessting, but it's still to early to recommend it, I think.

Blade of the Immortal is my favorite ancient-Japan Seinen, also 20Century Boys is great ... more Seinen for MH!

I can't recommend an ongoing Shoujo atm *thinks thinks* ... Josei ... I'm a fan of Yoshihara Yukis Manga, but we don't have so much fans of this genre here.

Gnaah, it's nearly 2AM, I think I forgot to much and I need sleep. Maybe I have a better Idea tomorrow

I don't have much time for it and I'm still at a beginner level, but it's a preparation for my later work. And I want to learn a celtic language too, but can't decide which one

1 - How did your love towards rats begun?

I bought my first rat (I called her "Mickey" and it was a white one with red eyes) a few month after my 14. birthday. I didn't told my mom and grandparents (lived together with them) about it, because I knew they wouldn't agree.
So I just bought her and brought her home. My mom felt in love with her and my grandma is happy that I'm now in my own appartment with this "ugly animals"

2 - Are you a single mom?

Yes, I used to live together with their father for more then 10 years, but we parted last year and I moved to the neighbourtown. We're still a pairing, but here at my home he used to be just a guest once a week.

3 - What's your favorite manga?

I don't know. I read so much and like so much, it's way to hard to decide that.
Hmmm ... maybe it's odd, but I love the oneshot Hotaru no Mori. It's nothing compared to other manga, but I even bought the japanese volume 'cause I was sooo touched by this wonderful short story^^

4 - Are your kids into anime?

Of course. Mostly German dubbed childrens anime at TV (Conan, Vicke Vicking, ...) but they also watched here and there a fansub episode with me. They don't understand it, but seems it is funny when mommy tries to "dub" for them

5 - Is that you on your sig/avatar?

I'm faszinated by languages, but I'm no good at it (just look at my English skills >.<). Chinese, Russian, maybe Dutch and Finnish would also be interessting, but that's to much for my crappy brain ... hm, if it's counting - I can read and write the elder Futhark^^

I study socialwork, but that was a wrong decision from the start. So I concentrate on (multi)cultural pedagogics and media pedagogics. Currently I prepare for my final thesis next year, a comparing of Japanese and German youth culture (hopefully they allow me the scholarship for the japanese research >.<). After that I plan my second half of the induction year in norway, that's why hermie is so excited, btw
