Hi I am new here. I worked on the cover page to see if I could do an ok job. I was wondering if anyone could give me some feedback on how to improve? I'm not sure where else to put this and this seemed like the right place but please let me know if I am wrong. This is just the cover and not colored.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I think it's almost perfect, really nice  :thumbs

The cleaning itself cant be better, but

1) I'd cut out the whole "Naruto"-logo and copy in sth. like this
2) There's a litte mistake with the redrawing at the right corner of the collar
3) The lines in the coil's center are a bit shifted

I like your line-redrawing, how do you do that?

Another question could be the time. I suggest to clean a common page just to see if you're happy with the expenditure of time (or maybe it doesn't madder?) :)

DWZ Thank you.
1) Okay I need to do better on the logo gotcha... If I were doing a color piece I could see using your suggestion but well I'm not.
2) Oh shoot! I forget to redraw that entirely from when I got rid of the text. Thanks for pointing that out.
3) Okay I need to do better on circles.
I used the pen tool on it's own layer then erased the underlying lines with the brush tool. It took me an hour to do that clean... I will try a regular panel next. Thanks for the suggestions.

Des Gotcha... I will pick the thread better next time I promise. My problem with the logo is I'm just not really sure how it's supposed to look. I have seen so many different versions of it I just don't know which one to emulate.

About the logo, using grayscale it looks like this

edit: gracias
;)

think this way's better than cleaning it every time

But you're not using the magnet-pen-tool, right?
couse I've some problems with putting the paths correctly
and with the settings for the brush (filling the path's contour/outline) [no time for changing my ps language right now :D]

Oh I see about the greyscale Got yea. Thank you for demonstrating that. And no I'm just using the normal pen tool. No magnet-pen-tool involved.

Here is the first edit. I didn't fix the coils at this point... That is going to be a matter of getting better with the pen tool.
