Naruto Databook

Hi, I'm having a little difficulty with a small page from the Naruto data book...
It's all a bit fuzzy and difficult to read but I think the line says
たゆまぬ優しさの中に、垣聞見せる慎重な表情。一族の代表という立場にある夫。その使命と、想いの重さを知るがゆえに・・・。
Only... the word 垣聞　doesn't seem to exist... I'm confused...

Plus there's on other kanji in the speech on that page that is really fuzzy and I can't read,
ただ　父さんは一族の代表として・・・　うちは一族を（？）らなきゃいけない立場にあるの
(I thought it might be 守る... but it really doesn't look like it...)

I'll attach the picture. If you guys can help me at all that's be great!

thanx stax! 考えてみりゃ 「真剣」 makes a lot more sense than 慎重

now I buy books just in case.... well to support the author too, but mainly for my eyes...
