The only things I don't like about manga tankobon (or volumes on this part of the world) are the fact that covers contain spoilers most of time as well as the summary describing character you should find out about later when you read said volume. D'you know what I mean? [SFMBE]

Most people read the weekly chapters anyway. As for those who don't, I remember that I got super excited as a kid seeing a character on the cover I've never seen before. And if it's a character who reappears, I'd have been excited as well. I don't think it matters for most people.

That sorta stuff can be easily skipped, especially if you're already aware of it already. I'd think seeing certain characters on the cover would be a dead giveaway to their appearances in the story.

About the cover, I'm not too fond of the green background and other than that it just seems a regular cover with the most relevant protagonists of the story appearing. It's nice to see Reiju, Jinbei and Pedro on there. Chopper with a cheeky smile, holding that mirror .

That's exactly it! I was displeased somewhat by his look until I remembered his name and ability.

That said, I'm not sure I like Smoothie's colour palette. With all the fanarts we've seen of her with pink hair, I guess anything different would've just been not as good.

Overall, I would've preferred if all the children had a shade of pink to purple hair, to show Big Mom's lineage and dominant genes.

If he has black hair and black tatto, it's good too but it's boring for me.

A long, long time ago, before I read One Piece online, I could only buy the volumes every second to third month. Volume 35 (The Captain - Robin and Usopp leaving, death sentence for Merry) really cracked me up back than.

It shudders me to imagine what would have happened to little me with a volume like this

different from usual covers and I live the dynamic between Luffy and Dogtooth. Surprised they let him use blood on the cover like this, since the series is still aimed at kids. Maybe it's different in Japan, not that I'm complaining.

I have 2 gripes with this latest cover: first is Luffy's imbued arm; it just looks off to me, with the lines and the way it's coloured. Second is the mirros with Luffy and Katakuri; I wish it was more reflective so it stood out and looked more realistic.
