I just read this really recently, and if you like something light-hearted and different, you should just check this out. So, lets discuss what's your favourite part of this series? What do you think will happen? For me, I thought Asuka is the most kawaii main character i've read in a shoujo series, and he has that 'constipated' look when he's trying so hard to be a guy. :hbunny

It's Here Here!
You must be a member to access it.
Either that, go to Serenus Dreamers to show support (which is better since they are doing a few other great series too) :D

Re: Otomen

I've just read the first chapter and I admit that is a quite interesting manga!
Shojos usually to feature female characters as protagonists, but this is an exception.
I really like Asuka :love -he loves cute things and he tries to look like a normal man- , and females in this manga are not silly -this is more common than a male as protagonist in a shojo-
The plot is also something to consider, due to its touch of originality.
I would reccomend it if I read more chapters -by this way I can judge it more widely- ;) As I've said, this manga is interesting.

Re: Otomen

I've read all the chapters up on MangaFox, and I enjoy the series. It became a teensy bit boring at some parts, but it's funny, so I like it. Additionally, I think Asuma is hilarious! He's so sweet (and can do all the things I cant, i.e. cook, sew, etc.). :D:p:D

Otomen prevail!
I like this series, it's a good light read with good illustrations. I just wish Ryo would be less thick-headed. They are so cute together.

Re: [Shoujo] Otomen by Kanno Aya

I really love Otomen, I kinda like how Asuka and Ryo are so dense and naive and how Juuta tries to get them together... The characters are just so much love - in a silly way :D But I like that it's not full of girly girls and pushover guys, Otomen is much more, ehm, pure and sincere, or something.

And my little sister agrees that Asuka would be the perfect man XD

This is a pretty cool read. I liked that it's not the manga with the the pervo boys peeking at girls, and girls screaming 'kyaa' all the time. It' pretty light, really fun and very interesting. I really liked it :wtf

Re: [Shoujo] Otomen by Kanno Aya

haha I just read this manga up to vol. 11, and it's hard to say what it really is.

I enjoy its humor and uniqueness. However it does become repetitive at some points. Development is quite slow but maybe that's not the point. Maybe the point of this manga is just to make it really fun.
