Shounen Peace Maker Kurogane by Chrono Nanae

i've just discovered this manga and i liked it tremendously . it's about a boy name tatsu who joined the shinsengumi on order to avenge his parents death. i'm interested in finding its anime, but people have told me that the anime is bad. could anyone clue me in wether the anime of this manga is really that bad?

I have only seen the first few ep. of it, and those were pretty similar to the manga, but it wasn't like the greatest, but still good. You can't just take peoples advice, since i think alot of stuff is pretty bad, but alot of people really like those stuff.

for the manga:
it's a great peace of work,
but beware, after PM-Kurogane vol05 the story is still to be continued... although on hiatus.

for the anime:
it should be out in english on dvds too...
i dont know of a still working torrent...
the quality of the anime is really dependent on your own opinion,
because while having nice animation they mixed pmk-parts into the storyline of the normal pm, so you can spoil yourself somehow when you watch the anime...
but aside from the mixing they did a good and accurate job on it

I watched the anime series on local TV then I turned into the manga but was only able to get 24 chapters of it. How many chapters are there?

Sorry to revive an old thread, but is it true that this series came off hiatus?

If this is to be believed, volume 6 will be released? But I read something in some other forum about it being released in Japan on cell phones or something, so I don't know how reliable the info is.

Any confirmation/thoughts? I really hope this is true.

Ahh, thanks so much! I can't read/speak Japanese, so it's difficult for me to confirm news by my lonesome. I really should just learn, haha, it's so hard to find good Bakumatsu fiction in English... one reason I love this manga so much. I hope it gets scanlated and/or is released in English!

ETA: also, any idea what/who that preview image is supposed to be? It's so hard to tell!
