The first two volumes haven't dragged. So far it has a really nice pace, a really absorbing story. So far Ajino is my favorite character.
I got through this one pretty quickly as well (though not in one go like you didman, you're too slow kait.
shouryuujo, I didn't feel the drag maybe because I read all 9 volumes in one go...
One thing that actually helps me read this series is that while I read the chapters I listen to the score they play. And then I can imagine it more.
Seconded!Oh it's so nice to see barbapapa postThanks for the assurance that you're not dropping it!

I <3 Piano no Mori so much. Patiently waiting for translation, patiently waiting, paitently. However, while I'm not clourophobic, I don't ever want to see Kai in a clown outfit ever again.
I didn't mind, in fact I saw it coming. How about dressed like a woman?
one thing about the theme of the manga is shuhei being the "underdog" to Kei and his dad being "inferior" to ajino.Normally people like the underdogs but to think Kei being "beaten" after all that hardship is inconceivable right?waaaa I don't wanna click on the spoilers
I'm waiting for the scans, thanks![]()
Releases are kind of slow. Most recent volume #22 (ends at chapter 205) was released last August. Since that volume I have seen very few chapters in Morning. Current pace is around 12 to 15 chapters per year, so about 1 to two volumes per year.does.. anyone else have a say on this manga?
how are the chapter releases in Japan? I'm curious as to how the scans are catching up, mainly because I'm wondering how far I am in the story. I'm at chapter 107 right now, where Kai is seen consulting a doctor who specializes in hand injuries.
I think Kai is talking to the doctor not for himself but for Ajino's sake. Kai treats Ajino like his father, and I think he's really concerned and wants Ajino to get better so he consults the doctor.
