OK, so for a long time, I've been thinking to myself this: It isn't possible for Fujitaka and Clow Reed to exist in the same world at the same time.
At the end of Cardcaptor Sakura, we learn that Clow Reed split himself into Fujitaka and Eriol, so Fujitaka is kind of like half of Clow Reed's soul. So seeing both of the in the Kingdom of Clow just kind of makes me go "Wait, that can't happen..."
But then I started thinking. Do they ever acknowledge that Sakura's father IS Clow Reed? Another thought that came to me earlier today is what is the possibility of that person actually being an adult version of Eriol? Eriol DOES look a lot like Clow Reed. And it would make more sense for Eriol and Fujitaka to coexist than Fujitaka and Clow Reed.
So, what do you guys think? Am I making any sense? Do you have solid, indisputable proof that Sakura's father in the Kingdom of Clow is really Clow Reed? Are my theories just way too far out there? Am I taking this all WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too seriously? Should I just sit back and accept the fact that Clamp likes drawing any character they darn well please and screw the little, ignorable plot holes?
