I think the colored version is really nice but it will probably look better if you erase the harsh mark (shadow). Keep it up.

By shadow, do you mean the shadings on his body, or the dark outlines?

Not bad, keep it up. Those shades of colors are needed, continue to work on it and your artwork would be perfect.
