I don't think I could give Kishomoto another chance after what he has done with Naruto and the fact that he approved of the abomination that is Boruto.

And by the way... I'm looking at the picture and all I see is a blond dude with a sword, artificial body parts, a mark? on his forehead and read that this is sci-fi with Samurai elements. So... it's basically another Boruto (sci-fi Samurai Ninja) series...

Oh no, I don't think I'm strong enough to take such a ride again, sorry.

According to this article Kishimoto apparently planned for Samurai 8 to have 10 volumes, but he also said he originally wanted Naruto to have around 15 volumes.
