So here we go! Gauntlet time. How far does Mihawk and Shanks make it

Round 1: Cracker, Katakuri, Oven, Daifuku, Perspero
Round 2: Marco, Vista, Jozu, Ace
Round 3 :Kizaru, Fujitora
Round 4: Akainu/ Aokiji
Round 5: Rayliegh/Garp
Round 6: Kaido/Big Mom
Round 7: Whitebeard/Blackbeard

They get a rest between each round! How far do they make it!

Even with rest (unless its months) they wont heal from serious injuries that fast or be able to deal with tier 5 and up opponents.

Garp doesn't belong there. Round 5 is still too high.
He's a living legend from the past. Luffy making him fly and bleed from one G2 punch during Marineford, proves he's not Akainu level, let alone still Yonko level. Unless we get more feats soon, which im hoping

Garp let Luffy punch him, It was explained by Sengoku IIRC that Garp couldn't bring himself to stop Luffy. The guy was pretty confident he could kill Akainu and this chapter shows that he was and still is a monster.

In my view they can probably take each round. 7 would be the most difficult, especially if BB can use both fruits.

I disagree. While sure, Garp let Luffy punch him, it doesn't matter in the end. The dude doesn't have the defensive feats that Kaido got after encountering Luffy for instance.
Even if you disregard this mediocre showing from Garp against Luffy, it doesn't even come close to what he showed against Blackbeard and Burgess. With Sengoku's help he couldn't even defeat pre-timeskip Blackbeard and freaking Burgess. Yet you want to pretend he's Yonko level? Kaido level? Yeah right, no way. Give me Yonko feats from Garp and we'll talk.

The guy was confident he'd kill Akainu? Nah, don't make me laugh. He was just mad at him and wanted to kill him, doesn't mean he was able to. Even Luffy could have said something like "i'll kill him for killing my brother", doesn't mean he was Akainu level at all. Like really, i've never understood why people think Garp's line there was a proof of anything. He was just being mad lol.

This chapter shows he was a monster, and i never pretended otherwise. This chapter says it was 38 years ago as well. How does this chapter proves he's STILL a monster?

Squardo was his ally. Whitebeard didn't expect, couldn't expect Squardo to impale him.
Plus, of course impaling someone would deal more damage than a single punch.

The point is that both suffered damage from a weakling. There are other examples, such as Shanks loosing his arm from a Sea King.

Kaido and Big Mom are anomalies. Everyone else would get hurt if they are caught off guard or let the opponent hit them.

Fair enough.
Garp's feats remain lackluster though. Couldn't put down pre-timeskip Blackbeard and Burgess, with Sengoku's help.

Damn, got misled by the anime again. My bad, it happens too often with me.

So you mean that Garp did even less in the manga? How am i supposed to believe he's a Yonko level character after he didn't do a single thing during all the Marineford war... A Yonko level character would have been able to stop the Blackbeard Pirates single handedly.

Shanks fails at 7. Probably beats Blackbeard but fails with whitebeard.

Mihawk fails at 5 or 6 depending on whether these are old Rayleigh and Garp or young Rayleigh and Garp.
