I think either 3 or 4 days is a good pace. Most discussions can finish in one or two, but some do require a little bit longer.

I think 3 days are about right. 4 feel too long somehow, and drag out unend discussion if any into something that is just repeating most of the time.

Team 6 beats Team 10 2-1 and advances to the Quarterfinals. The bracket image has been updated accordingly.

Next up are the matches between Teams 1 and 12. Enjoy.

Because of the given opinions and the fact that there was no discussion today, I decided to shorten the Round 2 matches to 3 days per match. If anyone feels like that's too little time, please either post here or let me know via PM.

Personal rant
i personally think that kintaro was overrated. he should have lost vs ochi.

ochi has 1) mach serve , 2) evil eye
mach serve is acknowledged by fuji, yukimura, and shiraishi for its effectiveness. I think that ochi would ace alot vs kintaro.
if tezuka/niou clone couldnt return it i doubt kintaro would have. atobe only returned it due to atobe kingdom, he was prepared for it.

Evil eye would have made kintaro be unconfident and miss his shots and special moves.
sure kintaro has his super atk, but that uses alot of stamina when used alot, and ochi can just give him evil eye or not return it.

comparing kintaro's vs atobe's mental ability, atobe is assumed way better, and kintaro having a child like mentalitiy would probably crumble.

kintaro's shots, which are assumed strong can be returned with 2handed shot.
Kaoz delete this post if its not appropriate thanks.

teams that are left in the tournament as of this post.

Team 2 - S1: Yukimura Seiichi, S2: Kai Yuujirou, D1: Shiraishi Kuranosuke/Kirihara Akaya
Team 3 - S1: Sanada Gen'ichirou, S2: Amane Hikaru, D1: Taira Yoshiyuki/Momoshiro Takeshi

Team 6 - S1: Oni Juujirou, S2: Hirakoba Rin, D1: Shishido Ryou/Tanishi Kei
Team 12 - S1: Fuji Shuusuke, S2: Akutagawa Jirou, D1: Tachibana Kippei/Chitose Senri

team 6 vs team 3 ( deciding match - sanada vs oni)
team 2 vs team 12 (deciding match- Doubles)

this could be another rikkai final if sanada and yukimura's team wins.

could be yips vs black aura. or yips vs oni or genius vs Sanada.

i'm looking forward to all these possibilities.

I'm really hoping that Fuji gets to the final and wins Singles 1 there. He's the Cinderella of this 4 monsters.

He'll lose dude, and I would love to see him in the finals, but with his current level, he'd get owned by Oni, Yuki or Sanada

I like Fuji, but he will die against so many people right now. It's annoying he hasn't been shown to upgrade yet.
But i'm hopeful for big things for him in 2013.

So hyped for Fuji's match lol... his and Golden Pair were my favorite in PoT. I don't understand why Marui and Kite are playing at all... they shouldn't be in the plot at all for such an important match.
