I was not expecting him to look like this at all, I was expecting a more demonic look

Maybe he’ll get a transformation ?

I'm not sure about how accurate this is but if anyone interested here's a small summary

Spoiler: 48-49

They fight and Buddha got an advantage
Buddha tell Zero that Buddha doesn't want to beat Zero but he want to save Zero's heart that deny his own happiness
Zero is jealous of Buddha and wanted to be love by everyone. But he doesn't know how to make it happen.
Buddha teach Zero that he need to love himself first, and then you can see other people value.
Zero's evilness dissapear and he become pure again.
They crosspunch and Buddha win. Zero lost but with a happy face

The fight somehow isn't over yet. 2 dragons appear and bind Zero into an egg.
The egg hatch and Zero is evil again
Buddha sweat because he can't read the future anymore
Zero turn into Tenma demon king or something
Beelzebub make an apperance and watch from afar

I honestly don’t even know where this story is going, this twist is huge lol, if Buddha loses then that’d mean humanity would have to win so many rounds to catch up

buddha winning percentage is 100 % now haha.
i think the author plan to make buddha went full power to show that he is one of the strongest fighter. the author know how to milk fans favorite. they know the fans wont satisfied if buddha power and ability just like that. hope the author show the most ridiculous overpower ability

Poor Zero, just when he finally found happiness

Okay, things don't look good for our dear Buddha. While I can see him still winning, I think it's his turn to get trashed. On another note, so far this fight has been a one-sided stomp in his favour, so it was about time he would face a challenge. I just hope Hajun doesn't disappoints, independently if he loses or not.

Chap 48 was lit. Although one-sided, I enjoyed Buddha vs. Zero. The art, choreography, weapons, and especially the dialogue were great. Watching Buddha is a treat, I mean the woman talking about his scent says it all. And Zero became like a little brother in this scenario, watching his tantrums and what he'd try next was fun. I couldn't help but laugh when Zero smiled, and then takes a knuckle sandwich to the face. Alls well that ends well, right?

Wait, we got dragons?! Over the top, but still cool. So that was Hajun who was referenced in chap 44 during the initial transformation, the harbinger of calamity. Hajun is basically the antithesis to Buddha and thus likely counters his Future Sight as he is the shadow to Buddha's light. Now the real battle begins. I still believe in Buddha like them monks. While Hajun will pressure and possibly overpower him for a bit, Buddha still has a few tricks up his sleeve, like the 2 forms left of his staff. And, Zero losing agency of his life is something Buddha hates the most, so he's got this hopefully.

Also, nice way to introduce Beelzebub. The design while unexpected is slick, seems like a good bet that he will have another form. We got the flies, specimens, and he looks tech savy lol. I need Loki, Hermes, and him in the same room.

Just caught up. Did no one else yell at Buddha to run? Just me? Yeah it's not looking too good for him unless he has a trump card to counter this, especially since his foresight is neutralised. Or maybe Zero battles for control of his body? I don't know the extent of this transformation but it's a pretty awesome one ngl. I'm still gonna tip the scale in Buddha's favour simply because he was confident enough to mouth of to Zeus. If you can back talk the king of the gods with no fear you can beat some weird dragon hybrid thing.

Look at that guy. Can Buddha even take a punch from him?

Buddha still has two of his six realms to reveal, and I think the last one will likely give him a transformation/super mode that will make him fight on par with Hajun. Considering these last two chapters mark the end of volume 12, I think this fight will last for about 4 chapters more (what takes to complete a Shuumatsu no Valkyrie volume) giving round 6 three volumes in total, since that is what fights 4/5 lasted. This is more or less what I think it's gonna happen:

Chapter 50: Hajun origin and relationship with Zero is revealed, the chapter ends with him striking and wounding Buddha for the first time.

Chapter 51: The battle continues, Hajun overwhelms Buddha and manages to injure him severely despite the latter using the fifth of his six realms. When things look lost for Buddha, he smiles and declares he isn't done yet, as he prepares to unleash his last realm.

Chapter 52: We get a flashback of how Buddha achieved godhood. He reveals his sixth and strongest realm, now matching Hajun and giving him some good hits. The climax of the fight approaches.

Chapter 53: End of the fight, independently of who wins.

I wouldn't be surprised either if we also get an internal battle of Zero vs Hajun meanwhile Buddha fights the demon in the real world, kinda like the battle against the Demon King in Nanatsu no Taizai when he was possessing Meliodas/Zeldris.

Beelzebub sighting. AFAIK the name Beelzebub is another name for satan/the devil.

I've wondered for awhile now whether Jesus or Prophet Muhammad might make eventual appearances.

I hope they avoid including those two. But as we have buddha running around sporting vampire teeth and a portable prayer staff. Would have go guess such may not be the case.

Ehhh... Don't know if you have read the battle so far, but Jesus is already in the manga lol. He's one of the spectators cheering for Buddha.

About Muhammad, his inclusion is highly unlikely, unless you want muslim people to get angry at the authors.
