Hullo! I got into writing poems and sonnets after this lady I had a crush on sent me a sonnet to cheer me up after my cat died. So I figured I would share some of them with you. I don't have names for any of them though ^^; I do this for fun so please don't expect them to be very good or professional or anything!

The difference between light and dark is stark
And when it beckons it leaves my heart seizing
The call from the shadows in the dark

I've always been frail but now my skin is like bark
And my thankful heart will now always be appeasing
The call from the shadows in the dark

On my heart they've left their mark
And dressed am I to be aesthetically pleasing
For the call from the shadows in the dark

Though scary I know they're as harmless as a shark
And so with them I am always joking and teasing
To taunt the shadows in the dark

But soon will end my storyarc
And there will be a gentle but firm easing
As I finally join the shadows in the dark

Winter it brings such joy to me
Snow falling upon and around
I would love to bring you to see
For snow adventures our fate be bound

Rain falls in lazy morning
But we would dance in it happily
Rain does not exist for mourning
It exists for sweet kissing bashfully

Hot days and cloudless skies above
Wind storms full of crackling thunder
A happy day at the pool we would love
Or electric nights watchings storms from under

I cannot help but see joy in it all
When all I can do is love you from Winter until fall
