Some pratcise.. Ulqui from 277 & Nell progress

Well I wanted to give up the coloring, and stuff like that, and I tried something new.. at least I wanted to cellshade, but I can't XD So.. I made something.. dunno what this style is XD
Anyways I'm losing my talent O.o /Well I don't know if I really had talent XD/


I'm getting the feeling, I'M the only one, who post a lot of stuff here I'm afraid to make another thread for this little progress bar

I don't think you can cell shade a 2d picture.. But I like that nontheless

Thx I changed some stuff, so don't forget to see Nell /I was a bit depresed yesterday, but I'll continue to color, so next time I'll do some full page on my old stly.. or something like that :P/

Well for cellshading ya need a perfectly clean image, and if ya wanna try it, just look at other cellshaders, and it's basicaly the same as softshading, only the shades are more simple. You have the base color, then a darker color, then you add small highlights, and then maybe some darker color.

But it's best to use a refference from a good cellshader and see how they do it. Like stfun.

And it will look a whole lotta better if ya colored the lineart.

( btw ya can use Shade's tutorial to make nice curvy shades)

Yeah...I wouldn't exactly call that a lack of talent, lol. I cel shade, but it's only when I don't have the patience to paint, ><. Great work, and don't be down on yourself. You're a lot better than you think.
