Sterling case is ongoing. The judge has to decide id his wife had the rights to sell the team.
The sale can be voided... and if it's the case, the league said that she can take over the team and run an auction.
the Clippers signed Spencer Hawes and Jordan Farmar this offseason, while they let Collison walk(went to the Kings)

And I'll always having fun kicking Miami, that introduction of the big 3 was awful,
About Wade... he isn't done, but he can't carry a team like he used to do... his body is betraying him. He was rested most of the last season, yet he vanished on the las games. He was defending like James Harden, couldn't score on transition and couldn't beat Paul George off the dribble and keep the team alive when LeBron had foul trouble. He should be better on a Ginobili-esque role rigt now.
Bosh is a better player than when he was in Toronto... still, I'm not sure if he carry a offense by himself, his work around the rim has dipped, he isn't young, maybe he just doesn't have the spring anymore. That said, they added Deng and the east is so feeble that this team will compete there and has as good as chance as any team to get on the conference finals.

About Houston... their offseason was a disaster. They could have kept Parsons an extra season for a minimum salary, the downside being that he would be a URA next year. They dreamed about Carmelo and Bosh, moves that would put them over hump. And for that they gave up on Asik and Lin... and when they got spurned they gave up on Parsons too. In the end they got Ariza, who is a downgrade to Parsons, to sae some money/flexibility. They were a team set to improve greatly, but they are a worse team now than they were at the end of the last season. The bigger winners of this offseason are actually the Spurs, only the Clippers got better on the west and their biggest obstacle on the east got worse instead of improving.

LeBron going back to Cavs kinda disgusts me, unless the fans and the owner apologized to him. Pretty good of him to go back though, given how he was treated.

Melo re-signed with the Knicks. :fail

Same Knicks who could not make the eighth seed. Over the Bulls who made the fourth seed without Rose and made it to conference semifinals the previous year without Rose. Well, Melo must not want the ring as much as he wants money. Unless the coach is a pretty good coach.

LeBron and Gilbert both apologized to each other. One big happy weepfest, I bet.

But leave the fans out of it, that's just stupid. Anyone that "hated" him and burned his jersey already have replacements. :lmao

holy cow Mike Miller joined lebron on the cavs. Was hoping the Heat would get him again, still i'm happy for him, that guy is awesome. As for Ray Allen he's getting ridiculous with the lebron piggy back, trying to get a deal with the cavs or he might retire

Mike Miller couldn't get back to the heat this season. His original contract would finish at the end of thi season. He was amnestied, he can~t be back to the team that amnestied him in the time his original contract would be running

Indiana Pacers 8 months ago: Paul George almost in MVP mode, Stephenson in MIP mode, Roy Hibbert as Best Center in the NBA.
Predictions for that team: Title

Indiana Pacers now: Paul George lucky if he can walk in 6 month, Stephenson gone, Roy Hibbert lost his basket
Predictions for that team: A qualification for the playoffs would already be nice.

Aside from that, Kevin Love will go to the cavaliers in exchange of Andrew Wiggins. Package should include Bennett and Corey Brewer. For me, it will be a good deal for both teams. Most specialists agreed that Wiggins would not be able to play in "2" and is a real "3". He wouldn't improve fast enough by coming out of the bench behind LBJ. Kevin Love is a monster and a duo Varejao/Love in the paint + LBJ,Waiters,Irving ... that's one hell of a starting 5 on paper. And I don't see them fail like the Howard-Kobe-Gasol-Nash lakers. Sure, we can be worried about Love and Irving being basically the two worst starting defenders in their respective positions but with the talent available + Lebron, they should qualify for the playoffs rather easily and be an immediate threat. One year to learn to play together and then title is possible in 2 years.

It's the east... so they should make the POs a with this team, but at new year this team was tittle contender and it's in shambles

And what a terrible injury, his leg just bent

Yuck, horrible injury for George. Hope he recovers from that, though I don't think he'll be 100% ever again.

He'll be at 100% physically, unlike tendons bones really heal well and even tend to be stronger post injury. the problem is the mental

yep... it'll take time for his mind be 100%
I mean, his injury was freakish, he jumped, he landed, it snapped. On a sport that you jump and land on almost every possession and jumping higher gives you a better odd against competition... it'll take time

Philippines lost but still, what a fun game. Lots of Filipinos in Spain.

And Andray Blatche might get his own statue here. I would've gone nuts if they pulled the upset though.

Aren't we bored of that kind of clash already? :XD Truth be it, both hold such talent that I doubt we will not be seeing them in the final. France is good but they are not so consistent, but the European mainland has Spain as best still.

USA is in the final by winning all matches by an average of >30 points ...
This is confirming what we know for years. Basketball = NBA and that's it. Rest is a second division at best. Don't get me wrong, I watched some "euroligue" games but some people in Europe actually believe that teams like Madrid or Moscow could have their place in the NBA. It's laughable. There are not playing in the same division. The best europpean team would finish in the 5 last teams in the NBA and I'm being nice.

Those international competitions are laughable. USA is unbeatable since 2006 and I'm pretty sure USA would still be competitve (ok maybe not winning the tournament ...) if the team was made of DLEAGUE/NCAA players. For the image of Basketball worldwide, those competitions are just showing that nothing changed since the "dream team" era. There is still a huge gap between NBA and the rest.

agree on that, i find most of those wc games boring and i never finish watching them. Once you get used to watching the NBA, when you watch others bball stuff you can't just enjoy. that's like watching an amateur league
