Hey everybody, thanks for having a look at our thread ^^
Although we are a new group, I think (well actually Azazel thought) we need a thread so people know we are around and what's up with us, so here it is.

1. Why did you start to scanlate? Who was the first who had the idea?

1. Why did you start to scanlate? Who was the first who had the idea?

I am not a big manga fan (not that I don't like mangas, just that I don't really read that many), but an old friend of mine intoruced me to Death Note which I really liked, so when I finished reading chapter 89 (yeah it was a while back) I decided I also want to discuss what's going around there so I decided to join a Death Note forum, thats how I got to TOWNL and there I started off as the guy who colors pages and such, after a while I found out about manga helpers and started to get my Naruto chapters from here and upload them to an Israeli forum I'm a manga uploader at (yeah I was such a leecher XD) with credits to the Manga Editors of course.. now I'm the kinda guy who has to try everything atleast once and I found cleaning quite.. appealing? I really wanted to clean those LQ raws and have them released, you know, to do my part (a leecher gone good kinda story?) so anywayz yeah, thats how I got into Editing.
I was the one who suggested starting a Edited Manga group, I first offered the idea to azazel who wanted to help but wasn't sure if he can cause he didn't know how to clean but he soon realized how easy it really is. I also offered the idea to another friend of mine (Aviv) who was really obsessed with Naruto, he also really wanted to help but he wasn't as good as Azazel or me so me and Azazel had to go through his pages and fix them (I am talking about chapter 297 of Naruto, he got A LOT better and helped alot on 298).

2. When did you start?

Naruto chapter 297 (I formed the group on thursday night 3/2 and we had 2 pages cleaned by friday ^^

3. What motivates you?

The comments of the readers and the will to be the best

4. What does the name "Chikusho" means?

It's the japanese word for "Damnit", credit to Azazel for coming up with that name (pfff japanese pro XD)

5. Do you plan to scanlate other mangas than Naruto in future?

We really want to scanlate 666satan but in need of a translator, other than that, when (if) we get more members we will start other projects.

wrong you are :P me and Aviv live in the same country (Israel) but we've never met, Azazel I met on TOWNL forums and he's one of my best friends online (who turned me into a maggot.. you.. ugh!!!)

Fnuckale? it's a word I made up on the summer vecation 4 years back, when I got my dog I looked for a nick for him and Fnuckale seemed to fit right in, I love it and it's pretty unique so I always use it online =)

Aviv is a real hebrew (or Israeli) name, it means spring in hebrew.

who's angryhamster? Is he registered on MH too?

angryhamster is also one my best online friends, met HER on TOWNL forums, she sometimes proofread for them and kindly agreed to help us
and nope, she isn't registered on MH.

well here it go's:
I have interest in magic satanic stuf and thing like that (but I'M NOT A SATANIST!!!)
so I have the Satanic Bible (to be honest I downloaded it)
and so I was reading that and than I stumbled accros a list of names of fallen angels and other evil beingsXD
and among those was the name Azazel
and since that day I use it
...
later I found out Azazel is the original name of the devil (yes SATAN)

btw where are you from?

Heh, big cities ( for as far as we have them in the netherlands ) have their advantages, but certainly their disadvantages too! So i prefer living in a medium-sized city close to the big ones... so it can be 'relatively quiet' and i still can get what i want from the more covering shops etc in the larger cities.

I'm from Delft, Zuid-Holland, in between The Hague and Rotterdam, but if you're from Holland you know it, ofcourse It's not that small...

Heh, i want to go to Isreal once eventually, but that won't be anytime soon... and i won't be able to go alone yet ( age 16 ), because Isreal doesn't really have the image of a 'safe' country yet... especially in the easily frightened dutchmen's view...

but fnuck said he lives in the safe area so it's ok to visit

uhm well..
there are some good comic shops
but the best option is to buy them on the internet
I bought Naruto vol 7 on bol.com and they also have some other mangas
and if you have a creditcard (or your parents) you could buy them on eBay
oh AND
there also are con(s) here

ok, I'd like to rise here an idea I came up with, I already told Aza but I'd like to get some other comments.
so I always go through our releases after I get some sleep (actually I am talking about 298 which I released at 2am on a school day) and find many mistakes and that we did a terrible job.. I really hate that and it makes me feel really bad cause I know we could have done better if we would have just taken our time with it.. so I came up with 2 options:

1. make a v1 release which is a quick MQ-HQ (we hope you will rate those as HQs but well, up until now you only rated this kind of releases as MQs) and after a day (kinda before the HQ raw is out) we will make a v2 release which will basiclly be better (better cleaning, colored cover etc...).

2. we could just take our time with v1 release...

we are good with any of the above, so whatever you pick works for us.
personally I like the v1/v2 idea better...
