Wait, #38 is being released on Monday or something, I think (according to the JUMP website). So that means this break is after NEXT WEEK'S chapter?

yes it is - so this week we'll get d.gray-man 129 and then there will be a five issues absence

Well it's not said and nobody is sure about it but indeed some people assume it has to do with an illness.

But hoshino herself said that the partial breaks were because of pain in her neck, shoulder,...? I don't exactly know what's going on

WHAT WHAT WHAT?! What a minute, here, you can't honestly be telling me that D.gray is actually skipping out of more than a solid month?! -spontaneously combusts-

I think I'll just curl up in a corner and die somewhere. It's practically the same. DDDDD:

AAAAAHHHH! Hunter x Hunter flashbacks! You know what this means? Short breaks turn into long breaks. Sketchy chapters turn into a mess of scribbles for barely 15 pages. Sporadic breaks and inconsistient quality turn into YEAR+ HIATUS! THE HORROR!!!!!

(But HxH, wonderfully enough, is coming back in October if the rumors hold true... Sorry, I say that in like, every post, but I'm just so happy that I have to spread the news XDDD)

I personly think a break is fine i mean how many weeks has the mangaka worked she (its a she right ? >_>) deserves a break even if it is just cuz she wants one :P

anyways i hope the mangaka is fine and will get back soon ..

Also don't you think if it was a illness they wouldnt set a comeback date they would just say 'The mangaka is on a break and will come back as soon as she can' not ' The mangaka is sick so even if she isnt better she will be working again in 4 weeks ! *evil laugh* '

In the spoiler thread for 129, it says there's a break until 41, is that just a mis-translation?
