Just wait till I tell you about the updating of the story to represent present-day ideals, Jasmine being a very progressive woman, the new prince and suitor (Billy Magnussen as Prince Anders of Skånland) and a new handmaiden who will replace Rajah (he's still in the movie tho) and is Jasmine's best friend/confidant, and to quote "the unique hip-hop genie".

Nowadays that totally depends on which edition of the home-media you're watching or what age the official art outside the movie has. If you Google her right now you'll see about 50 shades of brown..ish.

None of the characters look right lol

I don't think they have to, is my point. She doesn't look Irish or something lol. Will Smith as Genie sort of sounds funny, but I'm not sure why they wouldn't do CG to make him blue.

But we will see.
I know they don't have to, I guess I'm cynical cuz Hollywood does it so often...
I know as a black women, it's usually a mix light skin chick representing..when most black women are brown skin..

Anyway, I'm picky when it comes to these types of adaptation. Not to mention, it's my 2nd favorite disney princess movie..Oh LAAWD, the plot is what I'm most concern about....
