Captain Fantastic made heart eating look yummy.

Seriously though, great film.

I never ate heart o.o I mean, I know eating anything is a thing, ever since someone showed me a video of people eating horse dicks and those are supposedly a delicacy...

But heart tasting „heavenly“ :hmm First time I heard that.
Eating hearts and gizzards is not unusual here..

You can though, beef heart is actually the most common of all, you can get those in most supermarkets. Decent butchers have a small selection too.

Tbh I don't think we can find any other type of heart to buy here, except for the chicken one.
Now I want chicken heart farofa... That with teriyaki was basically my every Saturday meal when I was in uni.

Yeah, it's not available everywhere. I do most of my 'fresh' groceries in Germany and I've had some hearts there. :nod
Lived in two different german towns in the same southern region, the markets had very different stuff.

Yeah, well not common enough to see it on menus very much. But if you ever buy a whole chicken it always comes with gizzard and heart.

Did you also eat it before?
Heart? yeah. Not the most tender thing but it has a very strong flavor.

Same

I would expect any meat eater to eat a chicken heart at some point or other. I ate one too. Wasn't anything particularly amazing though. Livers on the other hand are very far from amazing. They could be nice when paired with something that compliments it well, perhaps.

Oh cool - forgot to answer one of your questions. I work for a private ambulance company which is contracted to various facilities. We deal with emergencies and non emergencies. Though the last couple of years the emergencies have been less and less due to us loosing some contracts. However we do still run into a few on the road here and there. Having said that - the job feels more like this.

And with that - Good morning peeps :hi. Woke up and its so cold here. -4c and the house heater didn't turn on. :nah
