Hey all,
Been a member for some time and never really posted. Just thoroughly enjoyed reading all the idea. I'm not sure if I'm duplicating here but I haven't seen a thread regarding this topic.
For all you mean people, its again my first post an theory <--Note the theory part
When the Kyubi mentioned Uchiha Madara I couldn't help but come up with a crazy theory. I believe that possible the statues at the Valley of End (not sure if its called this?) is of the First and Madara. Could it be that Madara and the First were best friends and had opposing theories on how Konahan would be formed. Hence the whole talk about Konahan being formed after that battle (can't remember if this is fact or my crazy idea).
The reason I say this is because the symbolism brought up by Kakashi when Naruto and Sauske fought at the same location. The connection, (1) best friends, (2) one has a desire for power, (3) Naruto like the First fought to protect friends, family, and the ideals of Konahan.
Onto more theory info, maybe Madara developed/obtained the Mangekyou in some form (not killing his best friend or my theory is crap, but possibly the hateful obsessive intent to kill his friend to obtain power). I believe Madara knew of Kyubi and tried to obtain the Kyubi for unlimited chakara to control and more effectively use Mangekyou, plus the regen, etc. from Kyubi. Supporting the whole need for unlimited chakara I recall Itachi getting weak after using Mangekyou on Kakashi (not sure though?).
Maybe Kyubi's statement about cursed bloodline is Madara's obsession with gaining power and the curse is losing everything and everyone that means something to the user of Mangekyou. This could be symbolism or foreshadowing on Kyubi's part to warn Sauske of the obsession of power.
