Hi, Well im a new translator. This is the section to ask me anything you want. Or just talk and discuss the most random thing you can think about.

I currently translate Whistle! and have started the group Josui 9. I am also an International Translator and translate xxxHolic and Death Note into Spansih. But most of the time I will be Translating Whistle!.

I live in Moorpark, California I am 18 and I am currently a Freshman at CSUN, California State University Northridge. I have started watching anime at the age of 4, and read manga at the age of 8. I was born in Mexico and came to the U.S. and the age of 4, have lived there ever since. I have two siblings and their the best ever.

Ask me any questions...I'm here for you.

BTW this thread is also a disguse for the PSBS Brigade. (Penguin Suicide Bomb Suad). We are enemies to Gray Foxxx's brigade.

So, are you translating directly from Japanese, or from English translations?

Well im translating from the raws, but i havent put the Japanes in my past Translations, but thats gonna chage casue the next Translations should have the Japanese or i'll attach the raws.

FYI I'm learning Japanes in school.

What do you do when there's a spot you have trouble understanding? Do you have someone who checks your translations for accuracy?

Yea when i got a problem i ask my friends at the Anime Club that are native Japanese.

but im also adding the japanese so some of you guys can proof-read it again.

You're lucky to have a local resource. I have to depend on email for my translation checks.

What level Japanese course are you taking? Were you able to place out of the 100 level courses?

Nah this is my first year taking Japanese so its 101.

You're in JPN101, yet you're translating manga? Are you sure you belong in that class? I certainly wasn't able to read the manga I bought out in town when I was taking 101 and 102; in fact, I was lucky to laboriously work my way through おおきなかぶ during my tour in Japan.

Well i do have some backgound in Japanese. They just didnt let me sign up to a harder class since im only a Freshman, they said that any harder class would be too much of a challange.

No i watched some in Japanese and from that moment on i decided i wanted to learn to understand what the hell they said. I also got an advacned copy of Kindgom Hearts II before it came out to the public and it was Japanese with English subtitles.

Yes there is thats my secret ingredient in my bomb forumla.

Then i strap the bombs to the other still live penguins. It all works out anyway i would need to make a giant penguin breeding farm.

I wonder what PY will say when she comes in here and see's us talking about this! cant wait

oh, and whats with the penguins thing ?????

1. My name means nothing i just wanted to come up with a name that started with Z and sounded nice. It took me sometime but i finally got it.

2. I wanted to translate casue i saw an opportunity to get involved on the forum, since i cant scan.I didnt want to just chat. And casue it sounded like fun.

3. I like many manga but ill start naming some. Death Note, DBZ, Full Metal Alchemist, xxxHolic, Ranma 1/2, Rebound, Nartuo, Bleach, Fruits Basket. Thats all i can think of right now, but there are probably more. Those are just my top.

The penguin thing started Freshman year in High School when i was in Biology class and i was bored. We were learning about the Arctic and I got the funny idea if i could take over the world with animals. Me and my friend got really into it and we made a map of how it would end up after the take-over and even a full lenght plan on how the take-over would be. The funniest part was the penguin suicides.

Then when i came on the forum and made a comment to PY about penguins dying she said something about another one for S.P.F.B.P.P. or something like that. And thats how i ended up like this.
