Time Flaw: Oro leaving Akatsuki
A flaw has come to mind that, while I'm sure it has been explained somewhere, it continues to baffle me.
Pre-timeskip, last chapter [Naruto is 13 at this point]:
Oro is stated to have left Akt 7 years prior.
Naruto/Sasuke would have been ~6 at this point.
Itachi massacred the Uchiha clan... what, when Sasuke was 8 or 9, right? He had already started school, and was telling his nice great-aunt that Itachi had already mastered Sharingan by that age.... so, he was older than 6, in any case.
Now, if we use Kyuubi's sealing as the basis for time [i.e. Naruto's birthyear]:
Kyuubi sealed: 0AK [After Kyuubi]
Oro leaves Akt: 6 AK
Itachi kills clan: ~8 AK
Clearly, Oro left Akatsuki AFTER Itachi killed his clan, right? Now, note that Itachi didn't even have his ANBU test [the time we can suppose Akt approached him] until Sasuke was in school... so, unless they approached some random 10/11 year old Chuunin, then Itachi wasn't in the organization yet [plus, no ring in Sasuke's flashbacks].
But, then we have a problem:
In the Oro flashback to Itachi performing a little hand-chopping, both Akt members are, well, Akt members... both have robes, and Oro probably left right after, due to Itachi being stronger...
But we just showed that Oro left before Itachi joined... plus, in that flashback, Itachi is CLEARLY not 10/11 years old. He's at least in his teen years...
So, the flaw:
Oro's flashback of the Itachi chop-suey seems inconsistant with other stated facts.... can anyone explain this?
