I'm wondering whether Tokyo Ghoul could be the future flagship title of Young JUMP since Gantz is about to end. Though I'm not sure on how often Tokyo Ghoul is being published in the magazine.

Hmmmm, I wonder why this series isn't getting much love in this community. This series definitely the best action series that I read for like past two years, along with Terra Formars.

The fact that there aren't all that many chapters out in english yet (with the scan/trans not being released all that often) might have something to do with it. Also, there isn't much action early on in the series, which might be a factor too...

Anyway, posting here mainly because if anyone's interested, I've translated a few chapters of Tokyo Ghoul and put those translations up here, and will translate some more later. However, since I'm not an offical translator yet, you can only find'em on the "Pending translations" page for now. Also, since I'm not that good a translator (though I hope I can make for a rank D translator at the very least and a rank C at most) you should probably read my translations with a grain of salt until someone has checked the accuracy...

I wish there were more translated chapters. The 12 chapters there are are really awesome. Such a promising story. And judging from the comments I read it even gets better later on.

I just started this, it seems that it is getting scanlated now more frequently. But it is still nearly 100 chapters behind. Sad thing is I can't even find the raws to read those while I wait for the scans.

The manga is really good but not expecting much from the anime. The anime probably is a 12-episodes show so it won't show much from the manga. I'm looking forward for the blood and violence, hope they won't censor it so much.

Lots of chapters are getting released today. It's ironic that the artificial Ghoul Kaneki is the one who wants Touka to be out of the Ghoul world now. Rize is still alive and everybody is starting to suspect Kanou.

It's the first time he lost since his hair turned white.
