Drakken had a death flag upon his head from the very start. And, as you said after Emma died, it was even more expected somehow, or at least, I'm not surprised too, and i think one of the major aspect of the story is Mikey losing all his closest mates/family or people he relies on or he needs ( his brother, Baji, Emma, Drakken ) or he kept being betrayed. But I agree, Draken's death is hard to swallow. On the other hand, props to the author to have the guts to kill such a character as Draken, Im not saying it's good ( nor bad, though, it's so heartbreaking), but definitely gutsy.

Even more gutsy when you consider all the times he let Drakken live through situations he should have died in only to kill him off anyway
I feel like he’s invested too much in Mikey for him to die so my guess would be Chifuyu or Mitsuya
Draken, even though the girl he loved died such a miserable death, he still managed to pull himself together and lived properly, he stayed strong until the end, even though we know he was suffering alone. In a certain sense he accepted Emma's death as she's already dead and nothing can be done about it, but he couldn't accept Mikey's situation, he still wanted to help him out of his emo-ness and I don't know what else that caused him to become the person he is now, which lead to his death (yeah Takemichy contributed greatly here by foreseeing Senju's death, I wish he didn't foresee anything at all!!). While there was a death flag upon Draken's head from the beginning and after Emma's death, I had a bad feeling when he lied to Takemichy about Mikey's whereabout in the present time line and then told him to leave Mikey alone, we know he couldn't have just accepted Mikey's fate that simply the way others like Naoto did so we knew somehow he'd be involved.

Kurisu the wife said he'd expect someone from the main gang to die, not Chifuyu and Mitsuya per se!! If you want to kill some main members go kill Takemichy coz who cares if he dies lol or even kill Mikey coz too dramatic, but don't jinx Chifuyu and Mitsuya.

Yeah, I dont care the less about South, I just want to see some Senju feats and seems its her moment to shine hopefully.
