Hmmmm imo all the God stuff is just a way to set God as the ultimate/end of manga antagonist that only Saitama can beat.

I guess there was also a try to deepen the reflexion and lore about "where do all these monsters even come from" but the truth is that readers had all accepted that monsters were just part of that world in a 'suspension of credulity' kinda way. No one really needed more explanation about them.

I just hate the god plot itself. For me it ruined the world of OPM, where the whole point of becoming a monster or a hero was just believing in it. If you have enough will - you can gain power and still remain human. If you dont have enough will - you become a monster. That was much better than just random powerful interdimensional being granting power

Why specify Webcomic version for characters who already appeared in the manga? Are they that different?

No they're not but @mrsticky005 specified he was voting for the webcomic versions, so I differenciated them.

Tho some characters don't have the same character development between manga and webcomic.

Can't blame him to be honest.

The reason why I am voting specifically for web comic versions is because I think ONE's writing in the web comic is just that good.

It's not that the manga is bad I mean I do think it's still ONE writing but IMHO I feel like sometimes the manga does too much and other times it doesn't do enough.

The manga is the same but different.
Sometimes it's really close and other times it will just follow the general idea or do it's own thing or even skip. Does that automatically mean it's bad? No, the manga should be judged on its own merit but at the same time it is an adaptation and as a fan of the web comic it can be pretty disappointing with some of the changes and omissions IMHO.
Other times the changes can be cool.

I'm not trying to discourage anyone from reading the manga. I only encourage folks
to read the webcomic because it's great.

Not just the writing but even the art, granted obviously its not technically the best but I think his composition is insanely good and its got a lot of raw energy.

As far as being a web comic purist
I mean yeah sure but I don't see that as
a bad thing because why change what works? Sure not everything will translate
when adapting but it's cool when it does.

Yes the web comic will always exist and I am glad for that but it's the manga that gets the anime and its the manga that gets most of the discussion online and that's fine because it lets ONE make OPM the way he wants.

But a web comic anime would be fire.

Yes I do think OPM should have two anime.

Nyan is a simple addition that works out well. Doesn't feel forced like Orochi. Didn't take a billion and 9 redraw chapters. Just a cool looking monster cat that was in and out with no fuss.
