I reckon we should make it an unwritten rule [as a matter of respect for people on shoddy internets/those using phones rather than PCs - and for only this round (and any subsequent art-centric rounds)] - to use liberal use of spoiler-boxes when posting more than 1 image

Otherwise this thread might quickly descend into the abhorrent mess of a husbando/waifu/manga war thread - and just become pages and pages... and pages of [DeviantArt] images

It kinda ruins any chance of rapid/productive discussion

Don't know if it's an unpopular opinion but I prefer NnT's drawings in the old times,
felt more detailed and medieval-like, the characters felt more expressive as well.
Was never a big fan of character designs,
but Nakaba is always great when it comes to details on fantasy and horror-shi panels.

Ohhh I totally forgot about this one. I actually like the art style in Fate/Kaleid a lot, but then again I think the ''recent'' Fate series *looking at you Fate Red line* has such amazing way of drawing the characters or, to me at least, appealing looking. Good one, Nii.

With the news that The Breaker comes back I felt even more inclined to give The Breaker a shoutout. For me it always had this certain amount of style and expression that put it above other martial arts mangas (there's still more in my list). The way the artist portrayed the fights always gave them a lot of gravitas and power but not so much that it felt entirely "DBZ" style. Also really like the character designs from haircuts to outfits a lot.

@Hermit I wanted to go for Monster #8 at first as well, I think I might've put it as an HM (unless I forgot). The art of that manga is so crisp and clean!! I love it!

It's very motivating for my current drawingstuff as well.

Honestly CLAMP's art is always stunning no matter in where,
but I feel that in XXXHolic they shine the most with the dark setting. ​

Not to mention, some chapters are just pure choreography, without any textbubbles who are obscuring the action. I would recommend this to anyone who likes Kenran Ashura as a series too.
