• You can pick an ending of any anime you like western animation are not allowed (for expl Avatar), however endings in other languages are allowed.
• To avoid recency bias, opening of last 2 years are not allowed. You can choose any anime ending that was released up to January 2022.
• It is up to you how you define what is a best ending/outro to you. Choose your top 10 anime outros based on your personal criteria — whether it's nostalgia, visuals, music, or a mix of everything. Your submission can even include endings from animes that you've never watched. And whether you like, love or hate the anime or not is irrelevant for your list.
• Honorable mentions are allowed.
• As long as deadline is not reached, you can change your lists as much as you want.
• Please, rank your top following the usual format :

This is a remake of one of the 1st rounds that was done 6/7 years ago. it will be 2 rounds (openings and endings, if you wish I might add a 3rd round for animes Ost)

Hey don‘t do my man Caules like that. While a bit on the bland side, his shared backstory and dynamic with his sister was interesting, and he was frankly the best master on the Black side, personality-wise. Everyone else was a lunatic, scumbag or cutthroat. Well at least Black side had masters..
Ah I didn‘t expect to get mad remembering Apocrypha this early!

Sorry to say this, but easily the weakest protagonist in all of Fate.

Bel why. Sieg is trash.

I really like the idea they had with Sieg, maybe Bel gave an HM because of that. Unfortunately their execution was awful. He could‘ve developed so much more/better, instead he is the personification of every shonen-MC‘s most annoying trope and turned up to 100..

With proper development and ending up with, you know, a proper character, his story could‘ve been really good. All circumstances around Sieg were great and giving lots of potential and room for anyone to grow through them, yet he wasted it all.

He is actually the personification of Apocrypha as an anime, if you think about it a bit. Great setting, lots of potential, even good plot ideas, that all get into a car on a highway and at the first turn crash and burn.

Fate/Hollow Ataraxia characters obviously drew the short stick Very cool melee-oriented badass who got brains and brawn. Also a very fitting master for Cu. Hopefully we'll see Hollow Ataraxia animated one day, pretty sure she'd be more popular.

You know what could‘ve made Fate Stay/Night much better? If Lancer had a master as well. Would give it more dynamic, more different sides contesting the Grail instead of like.. 2 or 3 at best.
From what I read about her she‘s great, I so wish we had her and Lancer together.

Truuuue, Sieg was trash, he regressed as a character the more Apocrypha went on. He started out with a clear, tangible and understandable motivation, in saving himself and his fellow homunculi from the cruel life they were forced into, only to later toss that whole subplot aside for meaningless, abstract bullshit like fighting for how he thinks humans should live and find meaning in their lives. As if he knows anything about humans lmao, he's like 5 minutes old and a homunculus. His romance subplot with Jeanne is also the most mediocre thing I've ever seen.

I saw that Bazett girl in Prillya. She was cool. Besides that I think I saw a few cameos here and there but I am not sure.

The siblings were indeed the only decent Masters in the Black faction.

Haha a bit of spice early on is good in my eyes, keeps things interesting :3 I agree he's the best master on the Black side, but that's because the rest is just awful (besides his sister). Agreed with pretty much everything about Sieg.

About Cu, time to blame Kirei for trolling and scheming... But if we one day see Hollow Ataraxia animated, you'll see them together eventually. And it does show how Kirei managed to become his Master.

Off the top of my head she isn't really anwhere besides Prillya, where she is cool and does cool stuff, but Hollow Ataraxia puts a lot of focus on her. She's basically the second main character there. But more about that maybe in a later post : D

I respect all these picks in their own way. Sieg is the hardest to defend but as an HM? Why not? He was a bit flat but I could see how somebody could be into that story, I guess. His romance with Jeanne wasn't as bad as people pretend that it was. If you can ignore the angst and sort of unearned role in the story I think he's fine.

The only name here I considered was Liz. I really like Liz especially if you get into the more tragic aspects of this super upbeat character. But even if I was doing top 20 I can't honestly say she'd make that list either for me. There are too many good stories in Fate.

The sister got a bit better later, but start-mid she was scummy as well. Didn‘t she want to get her brother‘s legs or something? I remember her go batshit crazy in some eps. Caules is best.

There are going to be so many characters to diss, Demon. I'm sure somebody is going to troll vote for Shinji. Sieg is, at worst, sort of boring in my opinion.

You can also look forward to me hating on Fate/Zero characters when they show up. I assume they'll make it because that's the Fate anime everybody watches but I would argue it's one of the weakest servant lineups in Fate.

Man, @Asako lighting it up with the HM! I love your picks. Can't believe Gudako didn't make anybodies list. I was tempted to put her on mine even though she's mostly a gag character. Carmilla is sort of wrapped up with Liz for me. I like both a lot and the duality of them since they are aware of each other and both sort of hate what they both represent to one another. Moriarty is growing on me too. All strong HMs that I would not have been surprised to see ranked.

And I like Semiramis too. Though I differ with Nii on her being at her strongest in her relationship with Amakusa. She was such a good evil queen that just got linked to... misc anime villain.

There are a bunch of lore reasons as to why. If you care, I'm sure Nii knows them better than I do but as I recall she is old enough to be from the age of the gods and is a demigod herself. Her mother was the goddess Derketo.

Should keep in mind that there aren't too many FGO players here I believe, so while you have many appearing thanks to their design alone, the MC is mostly unknown. And with so many other options, it easily happens that you can't nominate legit good characters. My initial list was like 20 characters and every one I had to remove hurt

About Semi, I think that's okay. I liked how they were kinda opposites but found common ground, and while I'm not a big Amakusa fan, I thought he was alright for the most part.

In all fairness, most people participating only know the anime, and the Apocrypha Light Novel isn't even fully translated, so it kinda had to be an anime-only
