I removed it coz I thought you wouldnt accept it due to that "adaptation" and agree looking for it to get a proper anime !

Didn't realise that Totsukuni no Shoujo did not have an anime adaptation

It has an adaptation, but only OVA

Still kind of amazed people were able to find HMs... I struggled hard with this round (and not with the usual 'which of these should I cut [and then later regret cutting] from my list')

I actually removed like 4 of my hms & kept 7.

the manga was amazing: I like any manga that involves music get an animation because imagining music is not easy, so getting an anime that catches the whole musical atmosphere is an additional plus, not to mention all the emotional aspects of that manga. Dead Dead Demon got an anime announced so hopefully Solanin will get one too.

Don't necessarily expect scifi/action or anything @Brandish μ since I said "weird" and mentioned Gantz. It's the scenario that's pretty unrealistic but it's still humorous etc

Weird/goodness aside - I'm also using video case logic -> see fresh looking lady on the cover -> rent it. Read the blurb on MAL, would be something I'd try (with 3 vols). Actually haven't read Gantz yet either.

This would be a good time to mention that your favourite aspect of these games - the Honourable Mentions - are going to be used as a tiebreaker for this round, as above Jokes aside, with the relatively low number of HM's (and how I've scored it in my table, so that HM is actually worth points, to make it easier), we can see if this is a bad idea.

Ranks - used excel to do it, might try to get it to account for ties.

I don't like this idea... But you're the host. I won't stop you.

The amount of people's honorable mentions varies a lot. Just look at many honorable mentions @Xadyu included in his list on @Evil3ye's Pokémon Round.

@GrySun's proposal of limiting the honorable mentions to a specific number/amount for all participants, would be nice if you wanna use HMs as tie-breakers.

We should focus on the Top Ten (and the 55 points in it) in my opinion. That's why I never incorporated HMs on my countdowns.

One thing I considered is 'the higher individual point, the higher the rank' as a tie-breaker method, but I never practiced it.

E.G.
A and B both got 16 total points
A got from 10 and 6.
B got 8 and 8.
A wins the tie-breaker since it got 10 Points from one user.

If both got 10 Points, then whichever get more 10 Points or the next point wins.

E.G.
C and D got 20 Points
C got 10, 8 and 2
D got 10, 7, 3.
C would win the tie-breaker since 8>7

E and F got 40 Points
E got 10, 10, 10, 8, and 2
F got 10, 10, 9, 9, 1, 1.
E wins the tie-breaker since E got 3 10s while F only got 2.

Yeah i assume you are right, but Solanin is pretty popular, thats a shame, why people say its difficult to get 10 entries when they could perfectly add several works from same mangaka, i dont think any of Asano manga get any adaptation yet, I think Solanin is a good manga that really deserves an adptation.

I havent read that one yet not ready I'm sensitive when it comes to very disturbing stuff, that said i recently read that Onani master Kurasawa, its not what it looks , its actually pretty deep, i was surprised it was good actually, not in my list tho, I wonder if someone picked it !
