Three picks that were on my initial 100-entry list.. Yes, I took this very seriously and had a lot of entries.

FernGully made it the farthest of the three, Land Before Time is more a guilty pleasure/nostalgia machine than anything else.

I actually never really liked FernGully. Didn’t see it until my teens though, but that goes for a lot of great animated films aimed at kids which I still love, so..

The Land Before Time was one of my favorite series of films as a kid, but only the first one really holds up. That one is truly great imo. Might watch that with my son soon (need to see how far his apathic film tendencies stretch, @Xadyu).

Wow, I actually went with American Pop for my #9? I had so many different films in mind I can’t even remember my final list, need to check it again. That film is definitely not for everyone, but I saw it the first time when I was just truly developing my love for 60’s-70’s music and it just really hit home with me. Has stayed with me ever since. Anyone who knows and likes the works of Ralph Bakshi and hasn’t seen the his yet, I recommend it, it’s a great piece of underground animation film.

Shrek 2 is the only Shrek film I like. I loved the first time when it came out when I was a kid, but rewatching it I find it annoying more than funny tbh.. it’s not bad, I just don’t really like it all that much anymore.

All Dogs Go To Heaven is reaply great. Cried my eyes out to it when I was a kid, realized how friggin disturbing, kid-wise, it is when I watched it as an adult. Love it.

Shrek and Shrek 2 are the only good films in the franchise (with Puss in Boots a solid third place), but yeah, Shrek 2 pulled it all together in one neat act, whilst Shrek 1 was pretty messy overall, still a great animation film though.

All Dogs to Heaven remains one of my most favorite (and least watched) movies, because of the impact it had on me, as a child and as an adult. Seeing the movie being mentioned here is just fucked up timing and I'm already teary-eyed, this is probably a movie I'll love to ignore for the next decade or so.

Placed it that low because I thought more people would've gone for it, shame it's out already.

Yeah, we're going to get a lot of double entries, my #9 and #10 are super popular picks, that's why I placed them low, but it's weird to see this few entries so far..
