I think Faust covered it earlier on the technicality, you can include them if you think of them as a duo; but that disqualifies you from calling them a band in that category.

Ah well, I missed out on that round anyway. But for what it's worth, I probably wouldn't have been able to include them as a band anyway.... too many picks. Duos and even Solos are much more limited in choices for me compared to Bands.

Too much packing to do so can’t follow the countdown very actively I’m afraid..

Donovan is a good pick though.
EDIT: And Tim Buckley.
Seems Gary is the one I’m most music-compatible with overall.

@xi0 Lennon over McCartney huh? They were both at their best in The Beatles (which is why I included neither) but I would put McCartney’s solo work over Lennon’s in a heartbeat. Not that I dislike Lennon at all, though.

Fair enough, I’m the same way really. I think Harrison had the most consistent solo work, but McCartney has the biggest quantity of great songs (obviously, since his career is that much longer), and Lennon had some of the really immortal songs, and arguably the best lyricist/poet of the bunch.

If you haven’t seen/heard it, since you like both Kristian and Joni, I’ll drop this as well:


(I agree with him, that song might be the best song ever written... especially the 2000 version can make me cry no matter how many times I hear it.)

Omg ive got a soundtrack for the day.

Pokémon Theme was the only English one I considered and the very last one I bumped off my list. It still gives me goosebumps at times, and that singer just puts his whole soul into the song man. Still, one more point from me wouldn’t have made a big difference anyway.
