Something tells me that there's a high chance I'll either not know most of the characters on your list, or I will question your reasons for including them

I had a really tight list of 14 amazing parents, finally narrowed it to 10.

I had a lot more than expected, if it were allowed i would give some hints but theres awesome guardians/parents in a ton of mangas/animes.
a lot manga /anime are revolving around education/child caring topic, idk how i can give more hints without spoiling too much.

It's not about not knowing parents to list, it's exactly what I wrote before. If you ignore the likes of Shou Tucker, I'd say someone like Kurosaki Masaki (Bleach) or Inko Midoriya (BnHA) is quite cliche, imo (up to where I followed those series). Not saying Ik a lot of series lmao (I don't, and that's a part of my issue), but yeah couldn't think of a lot of parents/guardians I'd consider remarkable, I think I'd end up filling my list with ones I'd call fodder or not great examples...
Maybe I do suffer from lack of knowledge and inspiration...

Likely - I managed to find 11 that were passable to me (I'm not really 100% sure I am happy with all of them even) - so it wasn't too hard to narrow it down to my final 10

Probably just the series I tend to like - the parents are all either utter non-characters or jokes

Isn't Inko though the opposite of cliche shonen mom?

1) Usually shonen mom's aren't there to support their kids, Inko is. Usually the mom is dead or irresponsible.

2) If they are there (the rare occurance), they blindly support the kids . Inko doesn't - she actually argues logically against Deku endangering himself crazily like shonen characters usually do, and demands the school to take responsibility.

3) She isn't stereotypical anime milf, but actually short and chubby.

4) This might change but: She isn't a descendent of a legendary hero with superior genes and OP quirk secretly passed to Deku. (All might fills that trope though). She is regular woman with quite mundane quirk.
