How is he overrated? He appears as a good dad for two chapters and then leaves the story. Mvp right there.

Don't read/know these, so I'll be scouting blind. Might be better than my usual taste

1) Usually shonen mom's aren't there to support their kids, Inko is. Usually the mom is dead or irresponsible.

No, imo they're usually deeply loving and caring, like the other example I gave (not that moms shouldn't be like that, but it's as if they're perfect angels).

2) If they are there (the rare occurance), they blindly support the kids . Inko doesn't - she actually argues logically against Deku endangering himself crazily like shonen characters usually do, and demands the school to take responsibility.

Again, imo they're big protective figures as well. Like SnK Carla, asking Mikasa to protect Eren and keep him out of trouble. Wasnt' Chichi like that as well? Don't recall much about DB. But yeah, imo Inko is just like the usual "I don't want you to get harmed" shonen moms. I don't think they're usually supportive of their kids following dangerous roads, there's a line there. Manga moms want to guard their kids, I don't recall many that challenge them (and fine, in shonen you don't wanna see kids being thrown in dragons mouths or the sorts).

3) She isn't stereotypical anime milf, but actually short and chubby.

Maybe cause of Nana's mom (Komatsu) that I see this as something that ain't new.

4) This might change but: She isn't a descendent of a legendary hero with superior genes and OP quirk secretly passed to Deku. (All might fills that trope though). She is regular woman with quite mundane quirk.

Well, if we're talking about shonen exclusively, that might something to highlight, but I'm no sure how common is an OP bkg for moms? Aren't moms often fodder and quite othernary in those series?

Maybe I called those parental figures as cliche (again, the ones I know and could recall) cause they're usually just there to serve the main chars stories, instead of being relevant characters on their own. Even Inko, from what I followed in BNhA, she's just there to show dramatic moments where Deku wants to expose himself and she's opposing or how sad he was as a kid 'cause he didn't have a quirk (and then she wants to protect him again).

Just think you see to little of him to call him an amazing char or something. Back then I found his whole attitude a bit too hyper/overdone in general, as if to scream in your face that he's a great dad or something. Can't really say much more bc it's been so long since I've watched FMA, but that's the impression I had back then.
