Firstly, we have an adult who roles as a kid and a kid who acts like an adult
In the manga, I thought Nel was pretty great, but in the anime her voice was pretty grating

Hitsugaya has one of the most awesome zanpakutos in Bleach - and I love his interactions with Rangiku - but there's something about him which always pushes him out of my top characters list for Bleach
I think it's just because he's one of those 'hype' characters - the youngest captain with the most powerful ice zanpakuto...

And as for Yamamoto - that man is one of the few seriously overpowered characters that I enjoy in manga - he's well written, his zanpakuto is fire (a beautiful homonym of a blade) - although he did seem like the kind of character where the author had to resort to bullshit, just to deal with him...

Yeah, all in all, these are some good picks

I actually like Neliel, and had her in my honorable mentions (like some others). When she revealed herself as the previous espada 3, went ''adult modus'' and fought against Nnoitra.. that was some good and hype stuff. Of course, when she wanted to do the final blow she went ''kid modus''. -3- Still a nice and cute character, regardless.

His fight against Mayuri is one of the best parts of Soul Society arc. Also in general his fights were more enjoyable to watch than Ichigo's (Due to the smarts and all).
Where Kubo dropped the ball was that Quincy stuff in the last arc. They never explained why Ishida survived that Quincy holocaust

Wasn't it stated like he survived due to his powers ?

Yep, well deserved 53 points...was kinda hoping him to be in top 10, but oh well. His conventional power would even surpass hogyoku aizen easily imo, for which aizen had to create special counter to him and then Kubo made his end kinda BS.

This was such a badass panel

really liked his bankai.

[Jammin]

The series of panels where Nel saved Ichigo and then her espada rank was revealed is I think some of my favorite battle manga panels of all time. Had a hard time picking between her and the character at my 10 spot just because of that alone. If she had been more involved she probably would have won that contest but I went the other way.

Yamato was just plain great. Him going out like he did really just started the Qunicy stuff out on the wrong foot. Which would prove to be quite prophetic with regards to everything after that. Most epic old guy in all of manga in my eyes and his abilities were just sooo cool. Even in a manga like Bleach where almost everything was pretty cool. Every time he did anything I was wow'd.
