I prefer Nel but Yoruichi was the best written female character of the series IMO.

Would have loved to see more of Urahara and I liked his Bankai. Powerful and versatile without being flashy. But it shares the same issues as some others where the abilities become too different for me to make a link(although there was never much about Benihime AFAIR).

I did say that I only shipped Hitsugaya x Rangiku but I liked this pairing as well. How are we supposed to see their relationship anyway?

And what about Ishtar? These are two very different entities after all

Rin should qualify since she is one of the main heroines in the VN. I personally wouldn't consider Ishtar a main female lead but with what Brandish said I guess anyone is fine as long as you consider her a female lead.

How you define "Lead Characters" is up to you. If you wanna roll with a minor chara, she is not going to be a common pick, and you will be shredded for your lack of common sense. As a suggestion, try to pick females who are the focus or mainstays of the story, and/or her decisions noticeably influence the plot.
