I think phantaminum is going to be a central part to this story still. And I also think Baam could be part of the reason so. What other reason could phanta have for storming a castle,slaughtering high ranking rankers like nothing and then confront Zahard only to let him live...maybe he didn't find what,or WHOM he was looking for.its evident by what garam said that there some prophecy or something expected of him to revolutionize the tower. Maybe Phanta came to intervene in whatever this was and couldn't mess with Zahard cause he had already sent Baam to the cave. I hope this post isn't inappropriate for this forum.

Also i wish we knew how old some people were it'd be easier to connect dots lol. I say this because the average age of people entering the tower is like 13,14. But androssi was 500 years old when she decided to start climbing. I wonder if she was searching for whatever shes looking for garam for before she entered

I don't think he's Zahards kid though, I think Zahard may have killed her though cause she didn't love him but loved someone else. And Fug was actually formed as a revenge thing by Mirchea Luslec to kill Zahard and all the founding members of FUG came together because they all felt Zahard fucked them over. Either Arlen was originally married to Mirchea or she was his sister and this is all about possibly avenging her death. Zahard sounds like the type of tyrant to kill a woman if she doesn't love him back and falls for another. Also I think Baam might be Enryuu's kid somehow, lol. Given how Garam was like "the child with a power similar to Enryuu" and I think Zahard may have trapped Enryuu somewhere as well. I also believe Jyu Viole Grace is Baam's real name and also explains why Baam is allowed so much freedom by Fug because Mirchae himself allows it and Jinsung already knew the real story and knew that when Baam learns the truth he would voluntarily carry out their dream/goal. We're also clearly not going to get the whole story as Garam says she's only going to tell him what she feels he can handle knowing at his current state. So I believe all these other revelations will come way way later on.

I also believe this truth about princesses is what Androssi wanted to find out, I think Anak may have already told her this and she wanted to know how true it is. This will also be what pushes her even more towards Baam as she will learn they just fighting to be a bride, this will make her rebel against the crown and since she's already (kind of in love) with Baam she'll want to travel with him even more. The gatekeeper said the last time Garam was interested in a guest was with Mazino, which means she thought he may have been Baam and when she examined him closer she realized he doesn't have the power of "Enryuu" even though he's an irregular and Baam does, this is why she wants to give him the thorn chances are Baam might actually be the only one capable of bearing the thorn to begin with. Also I think the last missing piece is what was calling for baam.

Urek doesn't need the Thorn to kill Zahard since he's an Irregular. Baam doesn't need it either, but it makes him stronger since it's his Ignition Weapon. Androssi is already is a delicate situation with her relationship with Viole plus the fact that she was climbing with Anak. Things will definitely become more troublesome for her later.

That is an interesting theory, I suppose it would explain why fug was using baam. But you also have to remember fug also trying to get rid of baam. Not all of fug thinks baam can fulfill their wish(kill zahard etc.), which tells me there may be another way. What that entails is not entirely clear, but fug was clearly going to melt baam into the thorn and us him in that capacity. So I don't think baam has to be alive to use the thorn at least.

Also turns out Hell Joe is an Androssi fan so he can't be all bad.

This week's request, Harley Quinn Rachel, is from 11syj-nim. A lot of you requested Harley Quinn, but I couldn't do it with a male char ;; I was asked for no freckles, but Rachel without freckles isn't Rachel, so hehe, I added them.

Rachel is one of the rare characters in Tower of God who reflects on who she murdered and tries to justify them. A lot of you are against that, some of you pity her character, and I myself see Rachel not as a villain, but the opposite of Baam. She's a character I care about a lot to, despite her getting hate ^^;

I have lots to say on Rachel, but I'll say bit by bit as the time goes.

Next week's theme is sports. Pick a sport and a character!

This chapter

We continued our story of Joe, and we are starting to get Baam's story. Hell Joe is actually a name I based on a meme, I'll let you guys know which one it is later (T/N: I'm guessing Hell Joseon, because Korea's harsh social/economic climate)... He'll be more in the spotlight when Baam's part ends, but Hell Joe is a different villain from the ones past. He's quite unique, and although I had told myself that the Floor of Death had to be serious, but Hell Jo had other ideas when he was made ^^; He's fun, but still weighty. That's the idea.

Who Arlene Grace is... wait till next week if you're curious ^^; Probably starting now, we're going to get a few important stories hehe.

Oh, I'm looking for a new assistant. The current assistants are having a lot of complications, and Tower of God has a lot of workload right now ㅠㅠ I alone can't handle all this work at this rate.

That would be awful. Grace is fine as a last name. I got no issue with that but Viole is an objectively terrible name. I really hope that's not true. It's got such a chunni feel to it, IMO.

As for FUG being the protagonistic faction. That I still think is impossible. I'm still pretty convinced that Baam will form his own faction. Just because Zahard is a bad guy doesn't make FUG good guys. They are both bad guys. To me that means Baam has to create his own "good guy" faction.

He didn't talk about the reason why he gave them this power, he only talked about the rumor that the one gathering all the weapons would become his bride. I caught this because I have reread the series and blog posts recently.

Interesting chapter! with many hints like:
Hockney's sharingan which works likely a Byakugan is the best way to found things such as Thorn pieces.
Karaka hasn't paid attention to Wangnam and viceversa, Wangy just look his hand, damnit!.
Joe is an specialist at demolish things, dangerous even more with all those interruptions. The tv reason is a powerful one to create a revolution.
I suppose Rachel and Joaquín are drinking tea inside Yura's suitcase, huh? Dog's life for sure.
Witch guides can be included in Baam's harem by now, don't you think? xd

The matter with the blood of Zahard is mostly interesting, because thanks to spoilers, it makes you wonder even more about Karaka and Wangnam as sons of him, to question: How they exists after all those precautions?
Princesses are forbidden to have childrens to stop Zahard's blood outbreak, the 13 months with the rings are confided only to special and powerful guys, a rumour was taken to shadow something else (regarding someone, i guess) and the explanation about the sons are still in the air.

I can speak a little more with more released chapters to understand the concern of Zahard for his blood, so now i'll wait.

Good chapter, Rachel looks great as HQ and SIU pays a lot! i would like to work with him xd.

But that's why she'll always be one of my favourite characters. Sticking these negative emotions and ambition inside a person that one wouldn't expect of it at first glance. It adds great dynamic to the character I believe.

Yes, from the point of view of characters, she is one of the most well constructed characters from Tower of God, because she is essentially a person who was not supposed to be an antagonist, but ends becoming one to climb up the tower, and at the same time, someone that motivates the main character to climb the tower. Her reasons are unclear, and as SIU doesn't see her as a villain, I'm guessing he did some good reason for her to be doing everything, even so (believe me, if he doesn't see her as a villain it's because he planned something very, very surprising for us), I don't like what she is doing (although, she is brilliant from the point of view of character developing). hating her is a personal opinion, but she's a good character, one of the best villains from mangas/animes I've seen so far, because her only reason to be a villain is her selfshiness.
I want to know her backstory though, she doesn't want the thorn for her, and she intends to use Hoaquin to climb the tower now. I wonder if Hoaquin will attempt something to run away in this floor of death after he gets stronger.

SIU once said she's an antiheroine. Hard to gauge everything since we don't know her past but she at least counts as an antagonist to Baam's team. Her actions have been villainous enough. I don't hate her anymore, but I used to.

Maybe the term got twisted over time. Maybe princess meant ''potential candidate to be queen". The first princesses at least knew it when it began.

Perhaps Zahard wanted his son to come into his inheritence the same way he did. By scaling and conquering the tower. Instead of being a weak ruler who had everything handed to him from the start.

I believe that Bam is actually the previous ruler of the tower son. I have always thought about this. Someone ruled the tower before zhard over threw him. First of all we have hints of that because. Zhard wouldn't need the 10 great family heads if the original king was not a BOSS. Zhard was a good guy when he was young as stated by the God of Guardians. He had good intetions. Until his first love the Queen of the Tower betrayed him (probably a missunderstanding). Which is wht Ghram told him he is not ready to hear whole story, because his mom is the reason Zhard left the tower. He killed his first love. Bam does not have the power to challenge Zhard

I think Karaka just likes wearing that mask, it doesn't have anything to do with Jinsung. He wore when he faced Yuri.

Most princesses don't know about that nowadays. They don't know what will happen if they gather all the series. And in the end Zahard will stop them. The Lo Po Bia twins are Androssi's rivals because they are competing for the 13 Month Series.

Let me agree to disagree, the Lo Po Bia twins cannot compete (yet) for the 13th month series because they are not even former princesses, that is they have not ended climbing the tower. The only princesses capable of compete for the 13th month series are the ones that have climbed the tower.

I don't get why if he doesn't want to get married he still lets the system continue. That part wasn't well translated I think.

Because of a suggestion of gustang o gustav, or how that is writing. I mean, there was discomfort between the ten families. So the system must be created.
