Also I have finally caught up with a general idea of how people feel about certain characters. Nice to know a lot of people joke on Purdidi when I had pretty high hopes for him. Seemed like a calm, forward-thinking, and experienced guy that could give people trouble.

Warns his allies about the dangers of war in how some of the strongest guys can even die, then decides he didn't need to bring his strongest owl.

This also brings up the point that his backup owl has a comparable showing to Traumerei's beasts (or at least 80%) showing in giving JH some trouble. But I am aware this last point could just be a nitpick that I wouldn't mention if I wasn't annoyed.
