Hello and welcome to the Advanced Coloring Category!
This category is specially made for our veteran colorist who are well recognized for their advanced skills in coloring manga.
ATTENTION: We have been lacking in Advanced Contest entries lately; this is the second time we've had to extend the deadline for submissions. If there is not sufficient participation to keep Bi-Weekly Contests going, we may change the deadline for the Advanced Contests to MONTHLY starting in December. For further discussion, please go to the thread link above.
Entries:
- If you've won 3 times in our weekly Amateur Manga Coloring Contest, you're classified as an Advanced artist and you have to stay with this contest from now on if you want to compete. However, you can still join even if you're still classified as an Amateur, if you're that confident in your work.
- There may be some instances where your work is so good that we have to move it from the Amateur contest to the Advanced contest. This is to ensure fair competition in the Amateur contest. We may also classify you as an Advanced colorist even if you haven't won 3 times in the Amateur contest. We will be sure to notify you if we make such a decision.
- Any manga colorings of your choice are allowed. It can be a whole page, double-page, or even just a panel, whatever you wish.
- Any fan art should be submitted to Fan Art of the Month contest.
- Any media of your choice. Watercolor, Digitally-colored, or even a crayon coloring. Who knows..as long as it looks good, why not.
- Entries for Advanced Coloring Category must be posted in this thread. Please go here for the Amateur Coloring Category
- If you have multiple colorings, kindly choose one for this competition.
- Kindly credit the cleaned page if it is cleaned by someone else.
- Kindly submit your final work. No editing your post for newer versions of colorings please.
- No plagiarizing please. Ripping someone's hard work is just wrong.
- NEW! Use the Photoplog Image Gallery or be potentially disqualified. We will help you if you ask for help, though.
How to submit contest entries:Must use PHOTOPLOG
- Go HERE.
- Choose "Art Contest" as the Category and click continue.
- Fill out the "Upload File" page to completion and click upload.
- After upload is complete you'll be redirected to your uploaded image, copy the thumbnail code listed and post that code in this thread useing the proper posting format.
