Basically, if the manga isn't being well-received in the first seven chapters or so (All of Volume 1, basically), Jump will be more than happy to axe it before Volume 1 is out.
I think it all just depends on when the serialization rounds are scheduled. Ne0lation and Higuma were very lucky it happened almost 5 months after they debuted. Some of these newbies won't. There are exceptions like Tokyo Wonder Boys (deemed as one of the worst received WSJ series ever and axed quickly with 1 volume only) or Chagecha (because mangaka pulled out after the bad reception for it).Basically, if the manga isn't being well-received in the first seven chapters or so (All of Volume 1, basically), Jump will be more than happy to axe it before Volume 1 is out.
Dayum, if Jujutsu keeps growing like this it can surpass BC and KnY. Not big targets or anything but it's still a milestone.Numbers time

Looks like mha is gonna end up doing about the same as the last Haikyuu. TPN could become the #2 best-selling WSJ manga next month.Numbers time

Tieba hasn't posted it, it might be fakeThere is a certain TOC around 4chan (in the WSJ comic sales post), looks real but seems very fake. Can someone verify if true?
MHA is always been like this. the sales drop a little bit when the anime isn't airing.Looks like mha is gonna end up doing about the same as the last Haikyuu. TPN could become the #2 best-selling WSJ manga next month.
We may be looking at a 50-70K drop here though. That's pretty big. The previous biggest gap volume to volume was 40K from 15 to 16. Then again, it's never gone so long without the anime. Still weird that the drop is happening now of all times when it seemed to have stayed consistent for the past three volumes with no anime. I don't know if this speaks well about the state of the series (because it can keep the momentum going for a good while after the anime season ends) or bad (because it may lose everything it gained in season 3 by next volume).MHA is always been like this. the sales drop a little bit when the anime isn't airing.
It's expected. Series that don't have anime for a bit show declines. I don't think S4 will provide any boosts whatsoever. At most, it'll help stagnate sales for the duration. We may be looking at a 50-70K drop here though. That's pretty big. The previous biggest gap volume to volume was 40K from 15 to 16. Don't really see any increase coming but then again, it's been a long time. It might end up having a positive effect. Depends if it can get back those who stopped with S3 and don't follow the manga, assuming they haven't moved on already.Speaking of huge drops when there's no anime, I wonder what Haikyuu's sales will be like once s4 starts. It's been quite a while since s3.
But stagnate them where? Because going back to peak levels would be a big boost in and on itself at this point. It's expected. Series that don't have anime for a bit show declines. I don't think S4 will provide any boosts whatsoever. At most, it'll help stagnate sales for the duration.

For the last 5 volumes, from MangAniMY's charts (only 2-week numbers for the most recent one, but maybe they can post the updated numbers. I didn't bother looking for the update : p).How big of a gap is there between Haikyuu & MHA? I think the series could definitely get a small boost from S4.
