Do you think more series are going to be cancelled after Soma or is it just going to be an empty slot for a few weeks? There hasn't been any new series announced, so I'm inclined to believe there won't be any more cancellations until the next batch.

I think we would recieve a ton of one-shots until the next round comes in. That would be used the Soma spot.

or s8 will just release vol 1 and 2 at the same time since the story will presumably be getting into actual arc by then as opposed to kishi using the first "volume" to establish what he wants. Its success is tbd but would make sense to do that imo

I don't think that's a good example, it was switched to a monthly schedule due to the author's health, and completely switched magazines too.

It wasn't monthly in 2013, it was weekly and still the volume release was 5 months after ch 1 so..

Its not the first time though. Some time ago few chapters had extra pages but here we are.

I completely misunderstood your post, I thought you were just giving examples of series that started weekly and went monthly to compare to the possibility of Samurai 8 doing the same. My bad.

I think it's the eyes, they're too far apart or smaller than they used to be or something.
