I'd like to take a moment to remind people of the last batch, where Guardian of the Witch got the most hype by a good bit yet ended up being by far the least popular of the three.

Maybe it'll be good, maybe it'll be bad, you really can't judge it from one picture and a quick description.

I'll do you one better; the Jujutsu, Noah's Notes and Ziga batch; the second one in particular was the most hyped of the 3 while JJK was already labeled by a lot of people as axe bait, and then the tables turned

LOL please stop using sales as the only metric when it comes to popularity, Kimetsu isn't even close to Dragon Ball popularity wise

Popularity wise for now, an argument can be made for Kimetsu since Super being published once a month is the only content coming out. Dragon Ball though overall throughout time is clearly ahead.

I hope Ghostwriter in the first chapter can really nail it on the head for what the series will look like 40 chapters down the line. That's one of the most important features I think of a first chapter, but not always needed.

I expected Guardian to do a lot worse tbh. S8 also didn't started that worse than v4 too considering it's a already cancelled series.

Wasn't Dr. Stone more of a mixed reception here? Act Age and CSM was well received here.

Yeah, lol, kimetsu 20 losing to SE means they printed a metric fuckton of the SE based on the hype. They will give SE reprints too.
