Hori should at least go monthly or bi monthly and the number of pages will be the same .... I don't get why he is so stubborn with staying in WSJ. Pretige? I am sure if Hori ask for long hiatus he will gets it because Tabata, Gege and Oda each have had long hiatus

I don't think he will. He is to reliant on that as it is one of the highest selling series in Jump. I am sure that there could be talks, but if it moves to GIGA as well it is good for Horikoshi, but it could lose readers. And Nakano knows that he cannot risk another dark age like what he went through with 2020 or have the lineup be similar to what happened back in the mid 90's.

Yeah, this. I thought that it would be more likely for MHA to pull off this move than BC. The latter feels like it isn’t struggling as much so it should’ve been fine. But I guess BC’s dwindling popularity had something to do with it?

Good, that's good that Jump has a new hit. I guess the Spy/Assassin trifecta of Mission: Yozakura Family, Sakamoto Days, and Kill Blue are what every series in that genre should strive to be (well okay maybe an exception for Spy x Family but that was the first before the rest of Shueisha did it.....you know I just thought of something, I think Kimi wa 008 did it before the aforementioned series). So now that we know Kill Blue got the cover, who got the center color pages?

Has Black Clover been on a downward trajectory? I have been skimming BC so I cannot tell. It is in epic final battle that supposedly should have propped the ranking. But it has been in mid or bottom tier lately. Yet people say that WSJ merely put popular series at back. Looking at this development, other than Tabata's health issue, I think other deciding factor is that it is indeed losing popularity.

Otherwise they would just force Tabata to a break
