It's confirmed @Enezneb

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Kill Blue getting the cover and lead color page for volume 1!!! That's 100% a hit in the make, i guess we will get Yozakura anniversary later again but it's okay if i get a KB cover, the only thing it could top it is Nue's Exorcist being the one getting the cover :teehee
Does it mean Yozakura getting shafted...?

I do wonder if Tabata promised to finish the series around this time, but he underestimated how long it would take so Shueisha transferred Black Clover to Giga.
It is a final arc, so of course the authors will underestimate how long it will take to finish by wrapping up every plot thread and make the ending satisfactory (especially if battle manga when fighting off against endgame villains). It makes me wonder how One Piece will pull it all together in the end. In the case of My Hero Academia we are in the final endgame now with AM vs AFO and Deku vs Shigaraki as well as the other two plot threads my friend told me needing to be wrapped up being Erasre Head and Present Mic vs Kurogiri (which if there are any My hero fans let me know the case on this plot thread) and Aoyama's redemption (I think).

Anyway, at this point, why not transfer One piece to the GIGA as well?
Hell no they won't, if they do they will be in the same position back in the mid 90's.

The cover going to Kill Blue and the colours going to Cipher and Nue means we have an issue where all the colour pages are for series under a year old. Two of them under 20 chapters even.

Also this should put to rest people still doubting Cipher's recovery for a while, if they're giving it another one already clearly they expect it to keep doing well.

Has Black Clover been on a downward trajectory? I have been skimming BC so I cannot tell. It is in epic final battle that supposedly should have propped the ranking. But it has been in mid or bottom tier lately. Yet people say that WSJ merely put popular series at back. Looking at this development, other than Tabata's health issue, I think other deciding factor is that it is indeed losing popularity.
For years now BC has been declining both in TOC and in sales (which are more than acceptable anyway)

Happy to see Nue is getting a CP, not happy to see Cipher is also getting one lol. It is fun seeing it be all new series getting color pages next issue though.

Final Black Clover Page in Weekly Shonen Jump
It seems BC is returning until December, in JUMP GIGA WINTER
Also Tabata final author message
Sad, but I hope that Tabata can finish the manga the way he wants it. And I hope that everyone in the magazine wishes him off with the best of luck.

Didn't it get a huge jump thanks to that movie on Netflix a month ago?

No, I predict a batch of 3 since the only titles I can see...wait you could be right if it is Ichinose, Fabricant 100, Tenmaku Cinema, and Do Retry.

I think Ichinose will not be axed, that will finish normally after à short story of 5-9 volumes

You know, with these color pages choices for issue 39. I am having this feeling it is turning out like what happened back in mid to late 2017-2018 mostly where the titles that were "heavily" promoted were Dr. Stone, The Promised Neverland, and Kimetsu no Yaiba as they were the new kids on the block at the time and yet they were getting alot of attention. I do think Nakano is capitalizing on Kill Blue and Nue's Exorcist, but I really can't put my finger on Cipher Academy.

And with that last statement that I am changing my stance on Cipher Academy and say it will be on that same boat of it's length.

It seams that after 2019, Jump has been getting pretty lucky in finding 3-4 series a year. Think about it, you got:

-2020: Undead Unluck, Mashle (which concluded), Me & Roboco, and Sakamoto Days (I am not counting Ayakashi Triangle as it transferred before the anime came out)
-2021: The Elusive Samurai, Witch Watch, and Blue Box
-2022: I don't know if I will consider the later 2 but, Akane-banashi, Ichinose (if it survives), and Cipher Academy (which I doubt)
-2023: now with Kill Blue, Nue's Exorcist, and Martial Master Asumi

I Think Cipher Academy will have more than 15 volumes, that will stay 3 years minimum

The Jump, they had a good ecci, a good Romance, sport manga, gag manga, and variety.

With the End of MHA very soon and JJK in one or two years, they need 2 big Battle Manga

Tabata took 3 months to prepare for the final arc and get a rest, now he will take 4 months to prepare for moving to GIGA :noworry

Also Tabata final author message
Yep, that comment tells everything you need to know about him moving to Plus, he was living in hell at the moment, this is why i'm not angry or anything despite really wanted him to go the entire run on WSJ, it's better for him to do this so we can have a actual end for the series and also not get a new Togashi.

I do wonder if Tabata promised to finish the series around this time, but he underestimated how long it would take so Shueisha transferred Black Clover to Giga.
Tabata's personal life has been pretty messy in the last months, stuff he didn't planned like his wife being hospitalized and he having to take care of her and the house, the situation just reached the limit.

Should it be a provocation or a joke?

Anyway, at this point, why not transfer One piece to the GIGA as well?
The comment was half of a joke half serious because i think it would benefit Hori a lot, the mention part is just me knowing you would eventually quote me ahsuhsauhashu

Otherwise they would just force Tabata to a break
Don't try to look sooo deep into the situation, his farewell comment says it all, he was living a hell having to deal with weekly serialization and personal problems, it was nothing to do with popularity, Horikoshi will not do the same because he is stubborn in ending it on WSJ.

Does it mean Yozakura getting shafted...?
Nah, just getting later like always, probably after the new round starting on #41
