Not as far as we know. Just shy.

That doesn't mean it's impossible, of course. But he's not really showing any symptoms aside from being socially awkward (which is implied to be at least partially due to his upbringing) and his motor skills and reflexes are off the charts, while for the vast majority of autistic people they are below average. So I'd say no.
Well I’m autistic on the high functioning through years of treatment.

Also I do have some good reflexes and senses (kind of like if I had Byakugan from Naruto).

OP: How does the blindfolded guy suddenly know what the people and animals in front of him look like? Does he have some special ability or did Oda just.. forget how blindfolds work?
Maybe he can see them through Haki.

Then you are an exception. From what I've read, an estimated 80% of autistic people have a harder time learning certain motoric tasks compared to the average person.

Maybe he can see them through Haki.
Maybe. Though it's weird he didn't do that in the previous chapters then.

I’m not sure if anyone will find this interesting or not, but I found it absolutely fascinating.
The simulpub decision was one of the best decisions ever made in manga history, but early Edited Mangas definitely make a mess of things.
I respect these translators so much.

I hate to pick on John Werry, but with all of the mistakes he made, I think it might’ve been wiser if he handed off the reins to someone else like the original translator of Cipher Academy did. Not that the two are in any way comparable, but…yeah.

I can understand where they are coming from. But I am glad that their presence is being known. One case where David Evelyn came to be interviewed by Manga Crash, as well as a few translators and letterers have appeared on Shonen Flop, so that’s nice that it is bringing us to understand them better.

Ah i just remember, maybe worth noticing, Jump started a campaign with TikTok that went from December 27 to January 31 where they included Kill Blue alongside the other series as part of "New Power Generation", to "support the notable series that will lead the next generation of Shonen Jump" (it's said in the article), Chojo wasn't included, it would be kinda weird if they're rushing Kill Blue while keeping Chojo :grin

really interesting this has Kill Blue and not Ichi or Chojo (although you can probably infer no 2024 series is in this by design so Chojo's disinclusion while receiving safety makes sense)

I think this is just highlighting the older running series at the moment. That being said, reassuring editorial still likes WW because my ass is NOT happy with those rankings recently...

I... Completely forgot about that.
You'd rather erase it from memory.

I will always remember it as historical moment worth repeating 😈

I might as well mention it now, but I'll soon be going to Japan as well! I'll be in Tokyo in less than a week! One of the first things I'll buy will be Jump issues, Nue volume 8 and jump merch!

And I’ll be going in April! Will see if I can grab any Jump merch that catches my eye.
