Like I said, average human beings. But yeah, Passione is actually a good studio for Nue. Still, I think it’d be hilarious if Shaft handled it—imagine Zenno doing that iconic head tilt when he faces the spirit from the first chapter
The saltiness from Sakamoto fans will be so unreal if Nue get a top tier adaptation lol. Will be glorious to see. Will be funny if it got a Fate Anime style.
He can now start giving nue good placements, it doesn’t matter if he come out to say beautiful stuff like this just to get to next week and place nue at bottom one
They certainly can't end it after this award at any rate. I guess Nue must be one of those series which has a strong online following but not many of them actually vote each week for whatever reason.
One of my local restaurants buys the magazine each week for folk to read while waiting (it's how I read the oneshots, since everything else I just read on manga+) so it doesn't necessarily mean people pirating it, just either they're too lazy to vote or they share the magazine with several people or read it somewhere else.
You'd have to edit most of the thread then, because >90% of the predictions here are completely wrong. Just go back a year and see how many people were convinced Kagurabachi was gonna be U19'ed.
And it's not like there was no basis for it. Those ToC rankings are horrible. Does this mean they really are just putting series with a loyal fanbase down there to push them to buy more volumes/send in more votes? Because that theory is sounding more and more likely, and it's gonna make speculation so much harder.

Finally Nue is getting a color page, i knew it would get one soon since vol 9 is about to be released and now with the 1st place on AnimeJapan 2025 no doubt it would get one, also will be on ch91 but it's not a anniversary one which is a good sign for a possible cover!
Nice to see Kill Blue almost out of the bottom again, this one surely not ending this round at this point, yeah it's been a long time with no color page but it's just no rushing the story anymore which means no way it can end in 5/6 chapters.
It sucks seeing Syd Craft at last place but considering the last week color page, doesn't seem like it's getting axed, unless it keeps dead in the next weeks.
I'm betting on Kagurabachi absence being more so the author can draw a cover & lead cp for issue #18 lol
Animejapan: Manga we want to See Animated 2025:
Top 1: Nue's Exorcist
Rest of the Ranks:
2. Liar! Gokuo-kun
3. Firefly Wedding
4. Phantom Busters
5. Kindergarten WARS
6. Ugly Duckling of the Entertainment District
7. Gokurakugai
8. The Person in a Villainess
9. Junket Bank
10. Love Bullet
Great illustration, Gakuro looks a mix of mature and confident, and yeah i know getting 1st place on AnimeJapan isn't a "confirmation" of anime adaptation but no way a series that get not only 1st place but its editor attending and making a speech is in danger of cancelation in a couple of chapters
lol Jump romcoms trully have a expiring date of 4 years, it never reaches 5, closest thing to reach that was Nisekoi.
If Blue Box is really ending in like 2 rounds or something, it's not a wonder why Saito seems so keen in not rushing anything, they already lost MHA and JJK and now will lost Blue Box soon, he gotta keep the series that are at least selling decently until something bigger eventually appears.
Tragic that Love Bullet couldn't cut it any higher, but, oh well.
Congrats to Nue. I was seriously expecting another Girl Meets Rock sweep, and it didn't even make the shortlist (lol)
Well, the dream would be Ufotable, but being realistic, A1 could do a good job, but i still have JC Staff in my mind for some reason, like mentioned Passione could be good too if with a good schedule.

It’s to be expected as well, but with Kagurabachi and Ichi the Witch being their next pillars, I think they will be fine (not like what happened in 2020 with the exodus and Nakano failed to deliver the year prior). But I think to solve the romance hole and preparation for the future, I hope Miura would at least say that she will pass the torch to Ono with Hima-Ten!. I say that cause although yes it is a traditional romance (being a harem), Ono was also an assistant to Miura and I think that would be a good thing going forward to give that seal of approval.

both kill blue and astro needs a color page like now, i miss the amazing wakui arts

one thing to note, I went on Suruga-ya to buy Astro Royale #4 copy but it wasn't available there, while all the other releases were. So there's only 2 possibilities... 1. No one bought it to sell on suruga-ya, 2. it already sold it's volumes (which unfortunately i believe number 1 is more accurate )
lol the Nue haters on 5ch are going nuts with the color page and winning the Anime Japan contest, the trolls were so sure Nue was about to get axed this round, some are even calling Nakano to return after years of criticizing him for being "soft", the salty tears are glorious
